"Wow, another prospective member. Two in less than 24 hours. This is surprising. I can't say that we don't have the room. We do." Azusa expresses her surprise and speaks to the pair. "Welcome to House Shanodia. There is plenty of room, as I believe that we are still the least populated House in Estark. No matter." She hands the two a token each. "These represent your membership in House Shanodia. Having yours on your person will allow you through the warded door into the rest of the House. On the first floor are the member sleeping quarters. There are three that have locked doors. They belong to the members we have already, one of which, I believe, has recently returned to the city. Any of the others are free for you to take. You will find a key in each room that will lock or unlock the door and open the chest at the foot of the bed. Do you have any more questions?"

Never forget: there's always someone bigger, better and stronger than you.
Someone once asked me why, when I talk about House Dimir, I don't put the word "the" in front of it.
At the time, I had no answer, but it just came to me.
Do we put the word "the" in front of God?

The person who responds is a middle-aged woman in white robes who is standing off to the side. "Welcome, child. My name is Azusa. I am the steward of House Shanodia. What can I do for you?"

"Many welcomes to you. This is your token of membership," she hands over a coin, "do not lose it, for it is much too expensive to replace. If you head through that door there," she indicates one at the other end of the foyer, "you will find yourself in the hallway with our members' quarters. Pick any one you like that does not have a golden sigil on the door. Those are already taken. Do you have any more questions for me?"

Except for one that's for level 3+ magi, which you aren't.

OOC: 'Tis alright. We WPLs really need to get a current commissions thread up or something. I understand your confusion, ChrisXIV, and don't hold it against you or anything. Also, and this is to all three new members of House Shanodia: Don't forget to update your profiles with your House membership!

Felpurr pockets his coin, goes through the warded door and selects a room for himself. Not a bad little room, and comfortable enough to sleep in. But now is not a time for sleep, it is a time for action. He leaves the house in search of spell gems, and then adventure.

They love and hate to see me walk through the door. I'm the man with the box, one to carry all his Standard cards with him. I've got the commons and uncommons they need. But I've also got my decks. If I walk into FNM, I came to play. And they never know what I'm gonna pull out of my hat next. I may lose more than I win, but it just might be THIS deck that has all the answers that they don't have answers for. They fear the unknown. They fear me. And they never see me coming!
Osark , as soon as he enters the House, finds a room that is to his liking. He immediately places all his sparse luggage in its proper place, then settles down to meditate. The quiet atmosphere and the surroundings quickly allow him to do so.
A few hours later, he exits his trance, pockets his coin, and leaves the House to explore the city.
A new announcement is posted on the message board in the foyer: There are legends told of a structure, a shrine, that facilitates growth and life with its very presence. As many legends have grains of truth, Azusa wishes for two magi to search for the source of this legend and, if the legends prove mostly true, to find some way to transport the shrine back to the House. See Azusa if interested. (Level 3 cap)

Osark, badly burned from his first Arena battle, staggers into the House. He sees the latest notice on the message board and is interested in joining, although he is too tired to write his name at the moment. Entering his quarters, he discards his cloak, changing it for a new one. Then, he begins to sink into a meditative trance to recover from his wounds.
A while later, feeling refreshed, Osark enters the main foyer again. Before signing up, he leaves the House to see whether he can find anything of more interest.
Azusa is found dancing about whimsically dancing across the floor. You can see as she weaves the vines and trees around her bringing forth lush life and flowers. Upon seeing you she smiles and waves.
Azusa: Oh a new face. I don't think I have seen you before. What can I help you with my ogreish friend?

Garthag hear others can make forest-magic help them....garthag want to know more....garthag help find forest-magic for you...then you give Garthag more forest-magic
Azuza: If learning more about green magic is what you seek than my ogre friend you have come to the right place. We here can help you begin to learn how to use the power of the forests. With training and experience eventually you to will be able to call upon their power to help you. Now I suppose we better get you a coin signifing your wish to join no?
Azuza glows green for a moment and a flower grows up directly in front of you. A golden coin sits on the flower.
Azuza: If you are serious about helping us and recieving our help then take that coin. With it you become part of this house and capable of learing from our power.

Azuza: Hahaha ah Garthag I shall like having you around. No you won't be turned into a house. You will be able to rain and live in this house. The coin merely represnets you joining the house as a member. Just think of the coin as something that allows you to call this place home. Now Garthag I must go but do take care.
With that Azuza begins to dance twirling magic as she goes.
