Angel now appears back in the house flames having dissapeared. Her softness has come back and there is no appearance of the force from before. She reaches up to touch her face and feels the burned in tear marks. She won't forget what she was told never. For now she goes to find Azusa. She must tell her of her failure and apologize if she must. It is a Keldon way.
Angel arrives at Azusa's office. The monk woman is inside, reviewing some records. Azusa looks up as she senses Angel's approach. "Ah, Angel. So good to see you. Our power bank in the master's tower has recorded your jump. It is a pity that you are not joining the circle, we would love to see you in there. But I digress. How did it go? Did you manage to retrieve the Jitte?" Azusa steps closer to Angel. "That is a new look for you. What happened? What are those marks? Tell me everything, child."

Never forget: there's always someone bigger, better and stronger than you.
Someone once asked me why, when I talk about House Dimir, I don't put the word "the" in front of it.
At the time, I had no answer, but it just came to me.
Do we put the word "the" in front of God?

Angel: Sadly I was not able to retrive the Jitte. A small tie up with Hamerheims representative lead to a battle I was not able to overcome. I have not seen one of those fire throwing fools be so useless and have no flames at his command. As for my appearance I don't know what you could be talking about? How have I changed? Did something happen that I am not aware of?
Angel wonders what Azusa is talking about it. She knows of no change that happens granted she doesn't quite remember everything that happened once those black flames emerged but Azusa probably shouldn't hear about that anyway. She doesn't want to worry her.
Azusa reaches out and brushes her fingertips just below Angel's right eye. "Child, you have burns here, beneath your eye. They resemble tears. I know of creatures that cry acid, and I know of some with acidic blood. What happened to you? We can deal with the Jitte situation later."
Never forget: there's always someone bigger, better and stronger than you.

A lot of memories pass by quickly but none which expalin what happened. As she reaches up to touch beneath her eye she really now realizes how vivid those marks were. A memory of life and death flashes before her eyes and she sees that crazy green mage from her first quest.
Angel: I don't know what caused this for it was nothing we fought. Like I said I don't remember anything happening although I keep getting this lingering feeling. I almost vaguely remember something talking about the process of life and death and my roll in it. Thats all I really remember.
Angel is really confused. What did happen. And what could it mean. She remembers the words but does that really mean something about her. Life and Death? She wont forget that but she supposes in time all will come full circle.
"Your role in the process of life and death? I presume you mean more than any normal mage. I have wandered this land since before you were born, child, and I say to you that there is nothing wrong with the process of life and death, for it is the natural order of things. All things must end at some point. There is an ancient temple where its core tenet is not some holy words or saying about serving the god the temple is dedicated, for it is not dedicated to any god. It speaks of the natural order, only bound within humanity. 'Valar Morghulis', the novices whisper. 'All men must die.' What puzzles me is why this realization and this message would affect you so."

"Child, if the cycle of life and death does indeed dictate a role for you, and if it will have something to do with you directly, you are in need of more help than I can offer. Might I suggest that you travel to the temple I spoke of earlier? Their initiates may be able to provide you with better insight than myself."

Angel:I think you are right Azusa. Maybe they can tell me something that I don't know. Could I get its location from you. That way after I take care of something first I can immediatly head out. I have so many questions to ask and life is just so fragile that I can not have it just rush by.
"Certainly, child. The temple is found in the far north, in the southern part of Parma. It is on the edge of a forest, in the middle of a plain, and has a large graveyard adjacent to it. It is known as the Temple of Many Faces. If you go to Parma, someone else will be able to tell you where it is."

With that Angel leaves Azusa's office and then she makes to leave the house she has some business to attend to before leaving. She checks her gladius to make sure it is sheethed all the way and then makes for Frankie Peanuts shop.
"You are welcome child. May you find the inner peace you seek. Valar Morghulis." Azusa goes back to her desk as Angel leaves and continues with her paperwork. "Shimia . . ." she mutters when she reads one report.

Azusa looks up from her papers and smiles. "Of course, child. Here you go." She hands Angel a piece of paper with a series of rather specific directions written on it, including how to properly enter the temple. A phrase is underlined three times at the bottom of the page with the note, "Once inside, speak the following to the first person in green who approaches you: Valar Dohaeris."
OOC: I know that spelling is not your forte, but for this only, I expect correct spelling (you know, copy and paste function).
IC: After handing over the papers, Azusa speaks again, "Do you have travel arrangements to head so far north, or can I help you with that as well?"

Angel: Azusa I thank you again for the map. You have been a huge help in this ordeal. As for traveling I don't have travel arrangements but I figured I would just summon one of my own wurms to take me there. Why do you know of a faster way to getting there?
"It is certainly feasible to travel overland, but you will be passing through hostile territory to arrive there. If you feel you are prepared to deal with hostile encounters, then by all means, travel via Wurm. If not, you might want to enlist the help of a flying creature."

Felpurr walks through the open door to the House of the Shanodia Druids. A sense of peace comes upon him, but with an underlying feeling of a coiled spring. He knows that nature can take simple and violent action against interlopers. And yet... he feels like he has found his home. At least for now.

They love and hate to see me walk through the door. I'm the man with the box, one to carry all his Standard cards with him. I've got the commons and uncommons they need. But I've also got my decks. If I walk into FNM, I came to play. And they never know what I'm gonna pull out of my hat next. I may lose more than I win, but it just might be THIS deck that has all the answers that they don't have answers for. They fear the unknown. They fear me. And they never see me coming!
