This thread is for Nai/Erin, Kozilek butcher of truth/Deth, and Hróðvitnir/Hróðvitnir. I reserve the right to add more players as necessary. Anyone else who's not a WPL posting here will invite my wrath in the most creative way I can think of at that time.
The portal opens. "You got lucky - it's the one place we've seen recently." A smile at Erin. "You'll like this - it's Kamigawa."
As he finally arrives at Saffi's, the wolfir begins to look for his new allies. "Hey, has anyone seen Erin and Deth. Rofellos sent me to join them," the wolfir says while searching the establishment.
Erin steps through the portal with a grin, almost jumping on her feet in glee. Her last visit here had been cut short, and she's looking forwards to spending time with her friends. As much a she can.
She's also feeling a little vengeful. Someone's trying to escape into the world of her people. That's not good stuff.
She gives a wave to the Wolfir, gesturing for him to join her.
As he's searching Hróðvitnir, sees an odd but friendly Kitsune wave him toward her as she steps through the glowing portal. She must be one of the two I am looking for, he thinks as he shouts, "Wait for me!" while running to join her.
Deth, seeing his companions jump through a portal with seemingly no preparation, sighs.
He then draws a slight aura around himself, and allows himself to relax as he feels the comforting feel of his magic settle around him. Then,he steps through the portal.

You can try. There may be difficulties/consequences holding it over a long period of time.
The portal drops them into the middle of a mountain range, though Saffi has the presence of mind to toss a small pouch behind them before the portal closes. The mountain's empty, so far as they can see, and ominously silent. It's by no means fully visible - many crags block their vision, and seem to be good places for enemies to hide.
To the east, far down from where they are, a forest can be seen. Parts of it are burned black, and other parts have been chopped down as though by a massive scythe.
As he appears on the other side, Hróðvitnir notices someone behind him and turns to see a man. The wolfir checks to make sure that he is fine after stepping through the portal, and after being sure he and his satchel are all there, he looks to see if the Kitsune is there and asks the man, "Hey I am Hróðvitnir, would you happen to be Deth?" The wolfir also notes the dark energy surrounding the man and reasons that he can at least use black magic.
Erin, on the other hand, notes the pouch more than anything. Hrm... And that's when she smells smoke. Glancing down to the east, eyes widening. Oh, please, don't let her actually recognize any of this.
Before the man answers him, Hróðvitnir sees the Kitsune and realizes that she has a look of disbelief on her face. "Hey what's wrong," he calls to her, before his eyes met what she was seeing. Crud, in his head Hróðvitnir kicked himself. He had become so use to the smell of burning, there were always blazing fires on his home plane, that it didn't even come to his mind that something was wrong.
"I am. Thought perhaps we should save formal introductions until after we are in a safe position, and perhaps have comforted our companion. She seems a tad distressed." Says Deth. With that, Deth turns to Erin, and asks in a kinder voice, "Do you know what may have causes this, and if there is a likelihood of danger still being around?"

Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately, depending on how one chooses to look at it) the forest Erin can see isn't familiar in any way. Well, it's clear that it's the same forest, but she can't recognize any particular details from the time she spent with the other kitsune.
"Are you okay?," asks Hróðvitnir to Erin, "you've been here before haven't you, and something isn't right is it," he says, trying to learn more about their current situation.
"Hey, Deth, who or what exactly, are we after?," the wolfir asks, trying to learn what he can in hopes of being able to track them.
"We were sent to exact revenge from the rebels who razed House Shimia. I was not there for the actual battle, but saw a explosion, to big to be caused by anyone fighting to defend their town. Therefor it was caused by what was apparently an orb, so my guess would be at least one of the attackers controls power given by fire. Aside from that, we know they are on this plane." Deth pauses, obviously frustrated by the lack of information they had on the rebels. Maybe it wasn't such a great idea to rush off without asking any of the leaders for information...
"I believe our first course of action should be to gather information, perhaps help out citizens in the plane, and gather information. After all, against the rebels, even Korlash was impotent. It could very well be suicidal to attack head on. Shall we approach the fire, and try and save any innocents we can? We wont learn much just sitting here. "

"That sounds like a plan to me. We should see what Erin thinks about it before we do anything though. She seems to know about this place and that, I think, would make her the leader on this mission." Hróðvitnir looks towards Erin and adds, "That is to say, if she is okay."
The 'sune glances over at them, then at the torched forest. She seems a little more relaxed now that she knows this isn't a familiar place. None of her friends are involved in that. Still, she's worried.
She finally tears her eyes off the horizon and looks back at that bag. Leaning down to root through it a little. Giving an absentminded nod to the two of them.
Seeing Erin rooting through the bag, Deth sighs, and draws his sai, and begins to play with it, flipping it up so its grip lands in his hand after every revolution.

After watching Deth throw his weapon a few times, Hróðvitnir approaches him and asks, "So Deth, what type of mage are you? I use green mana and swarm with small creatures that work well together." Hróðvitnir thought to tell him what type of magic he uses, because it is only right to give information of yourself before expecting someone to provide you with the same.
Erin nods to herself and ties the back to her waist. Then she glances at the other two. After just a few moments she shakes her head and glances to the horizon. To that burning forest. It's the most conspicuous place. So she starts striding in that direction.
"I kill. It does not matter if something is big or small. I kill regardless. However, if we are swarmed, I will be of less use, though I have some tricks. I use the mana that comes from the swamps, mana of those who are cunning, and care for power. I use the power of the swamps." says Deth as he catches his blade. Then he sheaths his weapon with a quick movement, and begins to stride after Erin. "How do you propose we find those we are sent after? and if we do, how should we approach them?"

Noticing Erin walking toward the forest, Hróðvitnir says to Deth, "Lets discuss us finding our prey while we walk, our leader is leaving without us." After catching up with the Kitsune, Hróðvitnir finally introduces himself to her. "My name is Hróðvitnir. I am a new mage from House Shanodia, I use swarming tactics to quickly overwhelm my opponents. May I ask, what style of mage you are?" The wolfir continues walking, waiting both for Deth to catch up and an answer from his group leader.
The kitsune glances at the two of them before continuing on soundlessly. But, when he's directly questioned, she simply begins to copy Hróðvitnir's movements. Including lip motions. No sound, of course. But the message should be clear enough.
Oh, a mime, he should have been able to guess. That's okay, thought Hróðvitnir, he was friends with a man that didn't have a tongue because he had gotten on the bad side of some vampires, that is until he crossed them again. Tovolar, please don't let there be any vampires here, he thought before saying, "Okay, let me guess, you copy other's spells. That's a very powerful ability." After making sure that Deth had caught up, Hróðvitnir added, "I think that if we can find a mana trail left by our quarry, I should be able to track them through that and their scent, if they left any."
"And how do you propose we track their mana trail? Especially now that we left the portal. You may be on to something however; we could hope they didn't cover their tracks. If either of you know how to follow a mana trail, would you be willing to teach me?" asks Deth. He may not yet trust them, but knowledge is Power. And Power is Everything.
