The following people have permission to post here: Myself, any other WPL, the players on this quest (defined below), and anyone else that I give permission to.
Anyone who posts in here who doesn’t have permission will be disparaged, disrespected, discombobulated, disarmed, disenfranchised, discredited, diseased, disfigured, disemboweled, dismembered, dissolved, and defenestrated. Remember: If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate.
"The boat you're looking for is named the Forever Dawn. They're setting out from Tantium within a few days, taking passengers to and from Benalia. It's a civilian ship, not equipped for combat. That's not to say these people aren't ready, willing, and able to if the need arises. You mages are there for insurance."
Goday pulls out a bag, and places it on the counter. "If you agree, I'm to give you 30 gold for expenses, and 30 gold when you come back to Estark. Agreed?"
Soru enters the shop, wanders a bit about the counters til he finds the gems he is seeking. He proceeds towards the loxodon, putting the gems on the table, along with a pouch full of gold.
I trust these should be enough for these gems, loxodon?
Please read my post in the Welcome/Discussion thread (link in my signature) for my apology and pledge. I will be sending shadowfuryix a PM today, because I thought I had previously. If he doesn't respond before Friday, I will lower the difficulty of the mission accordingly and we will continue as if he had never gotten into the quest.
The loxodon gives the gems to Soru, taking his gold. "Thank you. Have a good day."
OOC: Hi guys, I'm here at last! Sorry for the delay.
Shado returns to the bar and nods at Goday. "I see the other two mages have already been here." He takes his 30 gold from the counter. "If that's all then, we should be on our way."
"Just for reference, Tantium's to the west of here!" Goday calls to them as they leave. "And if you want to spend that cash, do it now. I don't think anyone sells spells in Tantium."
They are now outside Quen's Tavern in the bustling city streets.
The crew ships out, so to speak, and starts to make their way to Tantium.
After several hours walk, including time for a bite to eat, the trio start to spy a city on the horizon. One with the hint of masts behind it, implying ships, and the ocean beyond.
Another hour's walk takes them to the gates. The deep orange sun is near the horizon, casting warm lines of light and deep shadows from the masts and buildings. As they approach the city walls, they see a guard post at a gate to the city. One guard is standing within the guard post, keeping an eye on a large man with short-clipped hair standing on the far side of the gate, cleaning his fingernails with a cut-throat razor.
OOC: I'll answer. Sorry for the delay, the WPLs were discussing how to distribute Red's quests. I'll be taking over this one. It doesn't appear Red left any information about the quest anywhere. From what I've read, your characters were contracted to ride aboard the Forever Dawn and provide protection for the civilian ship. Is this correct?
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p

By the way, is the gold 30 for each mage, or 30 for all of us?
IC: Soru took his share of the gold and took off from the tavern.
I trust these should be enough for these gems, loxodon?
The Loxodon counts the gold in the pouch, and nods. "Yes, that would do nicely. Thank you."

"What about you, mister Shado?"
The loxodon gives the gems to Soru, taking his gold. "Thank you. Have a good day."
Shado returns to the bar and nods at Goday. "I see the other two mages have already been here." He takes his 30 gold from the counter. "If that's all then, we should be on our way."
I have none, and i doubt our employer would have any means of transport for us, since his funds are limited. Shall we set off then?
Shado walks out of the building.
They are now outside Quen's Tavern in the bustling city streets.
"Good morning, sir. I'd like two of these." -- putting down a pair of blue-tinted gems.
"I'm headed on a trip and these will probably come in handy."
OOC: I will update the other WPLs on my satchel when the sale is finished.
Shado plunks down said 50 gold.
Soon, the three of you end up at the western gate of Estark.
Shado, too, walks through the gate.
