Greel places two gray tiles on the table. The rune on one glows red, the other green. He holds up the green one. "Breaking this will send you to Kamigawa. Once there, hunt down your target. When you have found out where his gold is kept, go there and break this tile." Greel holds up the red tile. "That will take you back here. It goes without saying that I will also want the goblin, if he's alive."
"Sounds easy enough." Uldran replies as he walks forward to the tile. He places his hand over the tile, channeling black mana into it, and attempting to crack it open.
The world around the three swirls, and they find themselves on a crest of rock at the foot of a mountain range. Nearby, on the plains, there is a small outpost, with three mounted riders between them and the outpost.
There is a small clatter of rock on rock near Uldran's feet.
"Well, that was...erm...interesting. Make sure to check yourselves, then we probably should make our way to that outpost." Uldran says, then putting his hood up. "Sun is warmer than I anticipated here."
"Oh! And we have a welcome party. This could be fun..." he trails off, cracking his knuckles.
Talnin is still trying to take in whatever form of planar travel he just experienced, but sees that he'll have to be bewildered later.
"Hey wait, hold up - they could be friendly! Do you think they'd just dump us here without help of some sort? Unless one of you two is an expert on this world, and I wasn't told..."
OOC: His voice trailed off, kind of like muttering to himself, not walking away. However, Uldran is kind of looking for a fight, and a hint of that came through in his voice.
"Yes, actually. I would be rather surprised if we happened to drop near help. Did you not see the rock that landed by us right after we arrived?" Uldran asks, a bit impatiently. "Anyway, I would prepare yourself for a fight. They might be friendly, in which case we should not attack until we at least converse with them, but I would be surprised if that was the case."
"Come on now, you guys ar-hmm?" Uldran notices the glowing red rock, having finally looked down at the ground that he was standing on. He picks up the stone, eyeing it intently, the red glow illuminating his hooded face. "What might this be? Have you guys seen anything like this before?"
"It's um..." Talnin was feeling a bit dizzy, "yeah...it's....it's that other tile we need to get back to Greel's. Whoa - that trip must have made us all a wee bit disoriented."
Talnin shakes his head, in a physical gesture of shaking off the last of the summoning sickness.
"Phew. Well, Fuzzy, shall we go check out these locals?"
OOC:
Can I use summoning sickness as the canon explanation for our momentary foolishness?
Eavath blinked his eyes a few times and shook his head quickly to come back to the present. He had zoned out as the tile cracked and finally noticed they had teleported. He looked around and saw the three riders and the outpost, as well as mountains. He nodded to Talnin and said, "I think we should go check it out. Maybe these three up there could help us?" He squinted and tried to see if he could get a good look at the riders.
"Eavath here" nodding to both. He nodded again in agreement with Uldran. When they were within earshot of the riders, he spoke up, "Excuse us, but we seem to have misplaced someone. Would you possibly be able to help us?"
One of the three riders spurs his horse forward to meet them. He looks them up and down. "You don't look like one of Godo's bandits." He frowns. "Who are you looking for?"
Talnin inwardly loosened in relief - these seemed to be the local authority, not people who'd be trouble.
"No sir, we aren't bandits. Quite the opposite - we're looking to rein in a thief. A goblin by the name of Krot. I do not suppose you have seen a particularly unusual-looking goblin pass by here? He would not be from around these parts and would have appeared very strange."
Talnin didn't know how goblins on Kamigawa looked like, but what little he had heard of this exotic land (as well as his immediate impressions) combined with what goblins he had seen from Lorwyn, made him feel confident that they would be very different indeed.

3. Eavath/Eavath
I'm too tired to think of a proper punishment right now, but rest assured I'll come up with something good if you violate this.
Greel remains seated. "Don't try leaving yet."
Check in, please. Apologies about the wait.

"No questions here. One thieving goblin, coming up!"
"To break a tile, infuse it with mana and then crack it. Simple."

It's fortunate that it seems to have been carried along with them - they might have had a hard time getting back if that wasn't the case.

"You know, I never caught your names, by the way. I'm Talnin." He smiles amiably at the other two as they start to make their way towards the riders.
"I guessssss we can go peacefully. Probably is better that way. But don't be afraid to fight when the time comes."

"He has stolen quite a large sum of money, and any information you guys have would help immensely in his capture."
Uldran then pondered the question of how every plane seems to have goblins, but none look the same.
