Talnin quickly glances from Eavath to Uldran, with just a slight fluster on his face.
"Hey Uldran, I know that you gotta do what you gotta do," Talnin winces before saying hurriedly , "but beaky's got his claws full - I can't stop that last gobbo, but maybe you or Eavath have got something else which can stop it in case it brings back friends?"
Uldran cocks his head up at the question. Pondering for a second, he then chuckles and throws his dagger into the head of one of his Festering Goblins, and funnels the essence of death into the fleeing goblin.
Satisfied, Uldran fills the last vial, and gets up to retrieve his dagger. Turning toward Talnin, "Problem solved. However, I still am not sure of where to go from here."
Eavath nodded as the last goblin fell. He stretched his arms as he looked around the cavern they were in, hoping to see a way out other than the way they came in. He said to the other two, "I'm not sure where we should go either... Maybe there's a way further in?"
Talnin grabs the goblin off his griffin as it comes back, dragging its scrabbling prey.
"I was thinking we'd keep one...to question, you know?" Talnin says, making sure that the goblin can't get away. "Let's see if we can get anything out of this fellow before we move on."
I wonder if this guy can even understand what we're saying. Well, here goes...
"Alright, you ain't going anywhere, or my bloodsucking friend here is going to have himself some fresh food, right?" Talnin says to the captured Akki in as intimidating a voice as he can muster. "Now, have you seen a funny-looking goblin around here?"

Eavath winks at Uldran and opens his mouth in a sly grin, sharp teeth in plain sight. He lifts a hand up and sharp claws come out from the tips. He makes obvious motions to show just how sharp they are. He says to the akki, "Are you sure there's no goblin?"
"Well, this fellow really doesn't seem to know anything," Talnin says, deflating slightly.
Talnin drags the Akki to a secluded stalagmite and begins to tie him up with some rope he produces from his wumpus-skin bag, and gags his mouth to make sure he can't make any noise.
"Well, we know these caves are inhabited now," Talnin says as he ties up the goblin. "But where there's one gobbo, or in our case, I guess a big party, you can bet your beebles there's going to be a whole family reunion nearby."
Talnin gives the ropes a tug to make sure they're secure and that the Akki can't escape.
"If we go to the surface, we have to deal with Bozo and his bandits...but it ain't exactly pleasant down here, either." Talnin pouts and rubs his chin with exaggerated thoughtfulness. "I think it's safe to say that we're better off with the gobbos. There's nothing for it but for us to go deeper into these caves."
Uldran smiled throughout the whole 'questioning' process, with his eyes piercing into the goblin, who in his chaotic state never even noticed Uldran. No matter, the amusement factor alone was enough to satisfy him.
Nodding towards Talnin, "He is right. Bandits are a much more fearsome force than these little things down here, and I really don't fancy meeting Godo. We should continue to head deeper into the cave, I would bet our target is hiding from the bandits here just as we are."
Uldran shoots one more glare at the akki, showing off his red eyes, then laughs to himself.
With that, Talnin starts cautiously making his way to the other end of the cavern, searching for other passages where the goblins that attacked them were trying to flee to.
On the other side of the cavern, there are two passageways, both sloping downwards. They're close enough together that the goblins could have been trying to escape through either of them.
"How about we take the passage on the right?" Talnin asks Uldran and Eavath. "One's as good as the other, I figure....and I've got a good feeling about this one!"
"I've no issues with going through this one" as he steps beside Talnin. He peers into the opening on the right, trying to see if he could see something.
The tunnel keeps its downward lean as it makes a sharp turn towards the other tunnel. It ends up not intersecting, however, as the tunnel proceeds deeper into the mountain.
As they continue, the tunnel begins to widen, beginning to flare out into what looks like another cavern.
The cavern's full of goblins, and they all turn to look at Talnin. It's easy to see that they're all akki, however - the goblin they're looking for isn't in the group.
"Gentlemen," Talnin says as he puts his hands on Uldran's and Eavath's shoulders, "I think it's time we used the time-honoured strategy of LEGGING IT GOOD AND PROPER!"
Tugging his allies to come with him, Talnin starts to dash up the tunnel they came from.
As he does so, he frantically looks at the walls of the tunnel, searching for loose rocks, boulders - anything that could be used to stop the horde he knows he and his companions can't take head-on.

If you decide to release your mana, you get half your nonland permanents, rounded up, returned to your hand, and the rest go to the graveyard.
Do remember to keep track of your graveyard as well, by the way.

As they continue, the tunnel begins to widen, beginning to flare out into what looks like another cavern.
Talnin shifts uncomfortably. "You don't suppose they're going to attack us on sight like that last lot, do you?"
One akki, apparently the leader, motions some of the goblins to attack.

I suspect I've made it clear enough what you should be doing now.
