Riven leads them below decks into the belly of the ship and through corridor after corridor. Soon the smell of food finds its way to them. Moments later they enter the mess.
Welcome to the mess. Meals served at all hours; all you need to do is tell the cook what you want.
As this ship is our fastest it should only take about two days to get to Ramirez's location. Enjoy the food. I will be back in about a half an hour to take you all to quarters.
Riven says as he gives the group a head nod and leaves the mess. The mess is a simple one, but the aroma of exotic food fills the air. Row after row of tables and benches cover most of the floor. To the right side of the room is where the cooks are set up. All, save for one, are diligently cooking; the final one watching over their work.
Dodaer follows Farznik's lead, though much slower and with much less enthusiasm. Dodaer looked toward the cook with an expression void of emotion as he said, "Make whatever you are best at making, please." Dodaer wasn't particularly hungry, nor too caring about what he ate at the moment.

The chef closes his eyes and sighs angrily, as he does another of the cooks walks up to Dodaer and Ekedrik with two large bowls in hand.
Here you are gentlemen. Two heaping bowls of piping hot lobster bisque. Enjoy.
Dodaer followed suit. At the table, Dodaer decided it was time to learn more of his companions. "If we will be working with each other on this mission, it would be helpful to know about each other. What types of spells do you two know?"

"Shadows. I use shadows to sneak past defenses and take out targets one by one. I have a few other tricks up my sleeve, but that is my main strategy." Dodaer's eye gazes upon Farznik with no emotion. "My weakness is lack of defense. Shadows are not known for defending." His eye eases its gaze and drifts over to Ekedrik before returning to Farznik. "That should be sufficient. Now if you would... I don't want to head into a fight with no information at all."

"Nature magic. I can summon those of the forests to my side."
Ekedrik smiles briefly at Dodaer.
"And they can defend to some degree so I may be able to cover you."
Ekedrik looks back down and takes another spoonful of the bisque.
"That is yet to be determined. An offense and defense is not everything that concerns battle." Dodaer downs some of the bisque. Hmm, not bad... Haven't had decent food in a while... "A defense and offense is a good start though."

Farznik reaches into his pocket, grabs some meat, chews it, then says, "And if it wern't for my deztructive nature, practice would even be a good idea."

Dodaer quickly downs the remains of his bisque before bluntly responding, "Ready as I'll ever be, I suppose." The pitter-pattering of hooves can be heard as Dodaer gets out of his seat and stretches his legs a bit in preparation for the walk to their room.

Riven leads them out of the mess and down an adjacent hallway. Here the hall is lined with doors, each of them marked with different names. At the end of the hall are three doors marked with the Mages' names. Riven opens the one with Ekedrik's name on it, what was inside was immaculate. Large bed, fluffy blankets, overstuffed couch, solid wood writing deck with chair to match.
I do hope that this is to your liking. Each other room has been prepared in the same way.

"I'll have whatever you have ready."
Easy enough.
He says quietly.
HOUSE SPECIAL! MAKE IT SNAPPY YA SEA DOGS!!
He roars at the other chefs.
And what are you going to do with all that?
He questions the Goblin.
Here you are gentlemen. Two heaping bowls of piping hot lobster bisque. Enjoy.
Ekedrik sits down to eat the bisque.
Ekedrik smiles briefly at Dodaer.

Well Gents, are you all ready to get settled into your quarters?
"I'm ready as well."
