Joey turns to Aura
But I would request that you put aside any prejudice against me and form your own judgment.
Although I have little experience with houses or guilds, I would think that we all would have the same core ideals and principles, regardless of the colour of the mana which we draw upon.
"I will reserve judgment of you until a later time, if that is satisfactory. However at the moment I believe we have a child to rescue." Aura says while turning to face the couple, "Is there anything further that we need to know before heading out, For example how to find this Militia?"

The couple leads the Mages outside. Their canvas covered wagon is off to the side of the tavern. A sturdy horse chews on his cud as he waits for them. The couple take seats in the jockey box and wait for the Mages to hop into the back.
Aura carefully and cautiously climbs into the back of the wagon once there she awaits for Joey to climb in as well before letting the couple know that they were ready and secured in the back for the trip.

Markas replies, with that he clicks his tongue and the horse nays. Soon they are trotting out of Estark. As they travel the couple offers them a bit of food it the form of bread and cheese. The trip takes the remained of the day and a few hours into the night, but they arrive at the couple's house before the town's midnight bell. The town is quiet and dark with only the moonlight and a few torches providing any light. Their house is a small stone building that is covered with vines on one side. Markas brings the wagon up to the front and stops.
This is home. Breela, would you show them in while take care of the wagon and horse?
Yes Dear. Please come with me you two.
Breela says as she gets out of the wagon and pulls out a key.
Aura accepts the food graciously then settles in for the journey. Upon arriving she looks around to get a feel for the area. Though dark it is best to get an idea of her surroundings as best as possible. When Markas mentions that his wife show them in Aura carefully gets down out of the cart and follows Breela still looking around trying to get a feel for the area.

What they can see of the town marks it as quite simple. Cobblestone streets and dirt alleyways make pathways between simple stone buildings. The town has a very rustic feel, especially in comparison to Estark. Breela leads the young duo into her home. Inside they find a simple layout, starting in the den with a door in the center of the den and one off to the right. The den has a table and bench placed in front of a hearth.
Its not much, but its home. Aura I think that you may find our son's comfortable. It's just through that door.
She says as she points to the door in the center.
Joey, unfortunately, our son's room is our only spare so you will have to make due with the floor.
Aura nods gratefully to Breela and makes her way to the indicated room, and gingerly opens the door and looks inside by the light provided from the Den.

Inside of the room Aura finds a bed in one corner and a simple desk and small dresser in the other. As she looks Markas enters the house. I showed them where they will be sleeping for the night.
Good, good. I, for one, think that it is time for bed.
Joey arranges himself in a clear area of the floor, beside the hearth.
Lying down, Joey listens to the quiet sounds of the night, before going to sleep.
The night goes by peacefully. Come morning Markas and Breela are both up well before the young Mages. The wonderful smell of a freshly made vegetable stew drifts through their home and to the Mages' noses. Breela is standing next to the hearth stirring the stew in her caldron.
Aura dresses in an outfit that gives her freedom of movement while still accentuating her beauty. She then gathers up her things and leaves the room in which she had spent the evening and joins the others in the den, where she greets the others "Good Morning, how was your sleep?"

Joey wakes up to the aroma of the stew.
Getting up off the ground next to the hearth, Joey dusts himself off.
Joey walks over to the window and observes the surrounding street. She must have woken up well before dawn,
But how she managed to work without waking me I won't know...
As Joey wakes up, Aura walks into the room.
Joey nods in acknowledgment of her greeting.
Good morning to you too.
Yes thank you,
Joey replies as he takes one of the offered bowls.
Moving to the seat closest to the window, Joey begins to eat, while continuing to observe the street outside.
He notices that while it was getting busier, there was a nervous tension in the air.
Turning to Breela, Joey asks:
What time do they usually arrive?

It takes about a day to get back with our horse and wagon and they should be coming around tomorrow and the day after.
We forgot to mention that we are your transport there.
They say as they stand.
Let's head to the wagon. Any more questions that you two have can be answered on the way.
Joey says, as he follows them out the door.

I've slept in far worse places than on the floor of a warm house
