"Tis Fine. Thank you." Xerion replied to her. He preferred to bring his food up and not eat publicly. Mostly for people starting to freak out once they found out once the living dead was hanging around. Though his mask did have a compartment that allowed him to remove the lower half, allowing him to eat normally without exposing much.
The Mages eat in peace. No one seems to notice Xerion's 'condition'. As they are finishing up their food Maggy walks up to their table with two fresh Ales in hand. She puts the Ales down with a smile and pulls two keys off of her belt.
I haves a pair of rooms for ya's. Rooms 19 and 20.They are just up those stairs on the right of the tavern.
She said handing Xerion Room 19's key and Helarand Room 20's.
Anything else that I can get for ya's.
Helarand compliments the food, grabs his ale, and says, "you know where my room is if you need me," seemingly looking at the both of them. He bows to the lady and heads to his room, mug and key in hand.
OoC: Am I dragging this on with over-roleplaying or is this pace normal?
"It's best I stay alone." Xerion replied."i highly doubt any one of you is into necro anyway." he mused in his mind. "You and your friend go ahead and have your...erm...fun...just remind him we have a job to do."
Helarand drinks his ale as he ascends the stairs towards his assigned room. He leaves the empty mug outside the door. He dimly lights whatever light fixture he can find with a quick snap of his fingers and lays down on the bed, not bothering to undress or even get under the covers.
Helarand awakens from a sleep cut far too short by the night's activities and mumbles meaninglessly at Tonond. He falls out of bed in his undergarments, but recovers quickly by wrapping himself in the blanket and says, "allow me to dress in private and I shall meet you down in the main hall."
Outside the caravan of twelve wagons of weapons and other trade goods is bing being prepared. Most of the townsfolk are evolved in getting it ready with Lilia overseeing it all. She notes the Mages finally coming out of the Inn and motions them over. Tonond quickly makes a bee-line for her.
At the moment waiting is how you can best service me.
She replies with a hint of coyness in her voice.
The plan remains the same despite your ally's disappearance.
She hears something being dropped which brings a look of total annoyance to her face.
I will be back.
She says as she heads towards where the sound came from, cursing and cussing as she goes. About fifteen minutes later she returns.
Alright. We are ready to roll out. The trip normally takes about three days, but since we haven't been able to ship anything recently our load is about double in size. I hope that it doesn't add too much more time. I have a feeling that it will through. Enough, talk though. I want the two of you in the middle wagon.Locke is the driver of that wagon and Maggy is the lookout. Breakfast happens once we get to the mountains in about an hour or two. Go hop on and say hi.
Helarand bows to the smithy and makes his way to the indicated wagon. Once there, he greets his new companions, "Hello Locke, hello Maggy. I am Helarand, and togetther with my compatriot Xerion, we will roast anything that tries to interfere."
