Wynn stumbles a bit in shock at the army they're suddenly facing. She needed some help, and fast. Drawing another mana connection, wynn poured all her energy into her necklace, glowing with power. One more minute and she could be rid of these thigns once and for all, provided they didn't die before then.
"Xen! You have another one of those fog summoning spells? because now would be a hell of a good time to use it!" There's an edge in the girl's voice, a sense of fear and panic.

For once Xen was startled by the number of creatures around him. He was used to seeing large number of creatures on his side and under his control. But there was something different about seeing over twice the numbers prepared to attack him.
Calm yourself. You have a plan and several island mages with you. Trust them to support your magic and continue protecting the group.
Even as Wynn was crying for the spell, Xen was already casting it. Leaning forward in a stance like he was pushing out a great force, Xen channeled the small bit of forest magic into the gem and out through his palms. Within milliseconds a large billowing fog swept out across the wheat field making it all but impossible to see let alone attack.
Time for the trinket...
Xen stood up as the fog dissipated and brought his hands together as if praying. Then calming his mind Xen connected to another one of his forests. Channeling just a trickle of mana from one of the forests Xen reached into the mirage and balled his fist as if grabbing something. Then pulling his hand out of the mirage he made a small flourish revealing a spherical trinket that pulsed with emerald energy.
Then looking around at his companions he reassured them saying, "Do not panic! I can sustain these fogs for quite some time. Their actions though remind me of bee's around a beehive..."
As the creatures vanish within the fog, the group can hear collisions, and the protesting screech of metal and wood. It sounds like double the number of scarecrows seen are within the fog.
"What could be controlling these machinations? I've not seen a construct use mana in this way before. Xen, have you any ideas? Maybe if we cut these mana connections they will stop moving." Krensae calls out as he makes his way near the druid conjuring the fog. As it forms, he flings a bolt of blue at one of the Scarecrows that seems to be suffused in blue mana.

Three of the scarecrows clatter to the ground once Krensae makes the one blue-auraed scarecrow vanish. (OOG: Wingrattle Scarecrows lose flying)
The moment the elf gives Deraxas the flower, it is hit with a splash of acid from one of the huge scarecrows. (OOG: Grim Poppet)
Brigid glances over her shoulder at the approaching dark wave, and, with no apparent signal, all of them hit the ground at the same time.
Before the spell goes off, there is a surge of mana from some of the scarecrows in the back, channeled through one antlered one, and launching into various scarecrows.
The blast goes off, levelling the wheat in the immediate area, knocking the scarecrows over.
After a moment of silence, there's a rattling as one starts to get up. It looks at the group, and roars a screech of metal. Others leap up at this. They look weakened after the blast, but still deadly. They charge forward once again, one in the back causing itself to gain a multicolored aura.
The mana empowers them; lets see how they fare without any enhancements! Krensae flings another blue orb at the multicolored scarecrow. Grinning he prepares to run the larger of the two scarecrows charging at him.

Aramil called upon all of the winds around his body, and quicly opened portals before the blazing scarecrow and the Tattermite attacking himself, the rattling scarecrow attacking Deraxas, and the winged monstrocity that was fltying towards Deraxas.
Five left after Aramil and Krensae's magic... We can handle that. I'll take the blow then reinforce Aramil's magic...
Having decided on a course of action Xen rolled to the side as the scarecrow tore into him leaving behind a nasty cut on his left forearm.
Then standing up Xen focused his mind and gathered more mana to himself, expanding his mirage in the process. Turning to Aramil, Xen bowed his head and clapped his hands together saying a prayer. Green arcs of energy lanced across his body excitedly as he finished praying. The last words escaping from his mouth, Xen looked up at Aramil as the energy that had been swirling about him plummeted into the mirage. Pushing forward with his right arm and hand as he left stayed at the center of his chest, Xen caused green energy to lance out from his mirage towards Aramil.
Within moments the energy surrounded Aramil climbing from his feet towards his head. Just before reaching his eyes the energy arced outward and plunged itself into his eyes. Instead of feeling pain though Aramil felt an overwhelming sense of relaxation and rejuvenation.
Finished helping Aramil, Xen turned back to the threat at hand and prepared himself for what may come next...
Wynn notes Deraxas' blast of dark energy and noted the results...it confused her. She possessed a holy spell that did the exact same thing, and yet a black mage had preverted that magic? She was fuming, but right now they had bigger issues. Channeling mana, Wynn knew she had to make a statement. And she had a spell that might be able to do that...especially if she used herself as a medium for her magic. She had made up her mind.
Energy engulfed the sorceress as her body was lightened by holy force, white energy floating about her body until it focused around her form and exploded. A pair of beautiful, angelic wings erupted from the girl's shoulder blades, lifting her several inches into the air as she let the mana guide her, radiating a peaceful aura. Her mind was elsewhere, not caring, not needing any maintenance from her body. Her eyes opened, a pair of alluring emerald orbs, alight with energy. With one powerful flap of the senator's wings, razor-sharp feathers shot out from her wings, shredding the bodies of all the remaining puppets. After the destruction was complete, the girl's feet returned to the ground softly as the angelic wings glowed for a split second and vanished, returning the girl's mind to her.
Wynn wanted to make a statement with that spell. Chances are she succeeded.
