"But of course. I trust you have the focus for my spell?" She said, also sounding more like a statement rather than a question. "You may call me Oona, outsiders."
Brigid said nothing but nodded solemnly. Ysonne, on the other hand looked conflicted. "Please, children, you shouldn't dilly dally more than you already have. Time grows short."
Aramil simply followed. He didn't understand the heavy degree of reluctance everyone was displaying. To him, it was simple. A being of planar might had a solution to their problem and they held the key. It was only right to hand the key to someone who could turn the lock.
Hearing this confirmation Xen pushed out with his mind to sense any magic ahead. After all a planar spell should be using massive amounts of mana and mana was his specialty...
What Xen experienced was unbelievable. Energies ebbed and flowed around him, buffeting his senses, but that the core was something beyond description. Pure, raw power.
Xen felt himself being dwarfed in the energies, a rain droplet being swept away in the swirl of the ocean. Opening his mind to Aramil he whispered, "Aramil... this is overwhelming..."
A sharp wind whisks past you, and whips up some petals into a small twister in the center of the clearing. When the wind subsided, a pale, graceful woman stood in the middle, seemingly dressed in living flowers. "Child, must you lurk in the shadows so? It is very unbecoming of company."
"I apologize. It is not every day I stand in the company of one such as yourself." Aramil said as he stepped into the light. Still, he only walked so far forward that he was just outside of the shadows.
