Jenika nodded grimly, and then summoned another placid looking mage. Immediately afterwards, a mask appeared on his face. With a wave of Jenika's hand, a shining robe cloaked him.
Cyouni's dagger glows black, before it flicks out, burying itself in the bat's back. From there, a shroud of darkness expands, cloaking Cyouni in a blanket of night.
OOC: You'll see. The Darkness, or killing the bat?
The violet light shines again. Pulling a small pinpoint of it into his hand, Cyouni slings the mana at Jenika. It settles around a single gem, blocking access to it and giving hints of what else is in the satchel.
Cyouni sweeps his hand from left to right, the light trailing behind. The trailing light coalesces, and forms into a shade.
A small smirk appears on Cyouni's face, and he holds out his hand. Darkness flowed out from his palm, wrapping itself around the Researcher. The smirk still evident, Cyouni takes a step to the side, watching the blinded Researcher barrel past.
OOC: Will be using Fireshrieker as a weapon. It's still the 1/0 dagger. It just looks more interesting using Fireshrieker.
Cyouni sheathes the dagger, and extracts a gem from his satchel. With a burst of mana, it explodes into a hilt. From one end emerges a thin black flame. A confident grin on his face, Cyouni slashes at the air and prepares for Jenika's next assault.
"And just what do you plan on doing with that?" Jenika asked warily. "Well, just to be sure, let's just make sure your shenanigans don't go much further." She said, as a shimmering robe appeared on the shade. Then the Researchers lunged once more.
OOC: Robe of Mirrors on the Shade, then the researchers attack.
"Ready?"
OOC: d20 for initiative, 15 life, yadda, yadda.
