"Indeed, let's finish this quickly; if I have to see you beg again for your life like a pathetic dog, I'll probably puke." Rolling his eyes, Xin walked beside - and then past - Dodaer without glancing once at him, although it was obvious where the comment was directed.
His irritation was getting the best of him, but there was nothing he could do about it; he was anxious to get this done and over with, before the idiot killed them all with his sniveling.
'I hate cowards,' Xin thought, his eyes locked forward in grim seriousness as he watched the surroundings.
"I refuse to risk my life for something as worthless as self pride. If you have a problem with that, deal with it. You might not care about my life, as I know I don't care for yours, but we're working together now. Once this is all finished, let's hope to never see each other again. Truce?" Dodaer simply keeps walking as he says this, no hand outstretched, no sign of peace. It wouldn't be fitting in a place such as this at a time such as now.

There's something about a homemade avvy that makes you feel proud no matter how much it sucks.
Xin smirked, turning his head back to stare at his "partner" with an amused expression. "'Self pride'? Any normal person would drop to their knees begging for their life; you're a mage, for heaven's sakes. Act like you got a pair, or people and monsters are just gonna walk all over you."
That was about as close as Xin was going to get to accepting the truce. As irritating as it was, he knew that he'd need the help of his partners if he expected to complete the dragon's task - and all the pride in the world wouldn't cover up the stupidity of choosing to fail that task.
"And how would you expect me to stand up to such an opponent, hmm? I know my limits. I know what I can handle. I know I can't handle such a powerful dragon. At least not yet. I see the futility in the task and I choose a new option. I'd say I acchieved my goal, would you not? I'm alive and I have a new objective. How I handle things should be of no concern here. Now let's just drop it. You won't accept a truce? Fine, but let's stop argueing over this trivial event. We have the mission, there's no more need to speak on this matter. I advise you to not keep this up," said Dodaer, trying to drop the whole subject. He was getting distracted. He was vulnerable when he wasn't focused on his surroundings. He can't be vulnerable. He was not ready to die. Especially not at the hands of such a stubborn disturbance.

Roger had enough and interjected. "Hey, you know what? I was just starting to like you guys. HOWEVER, if you don't start to work to gether "I" will kill you both and call it an accident. Grow up, work together, and that gracious dragon will make us both rich. So here is the deal, undead are kindof my specialty. We're going to have to find the mage or lich responsible for creating these creatures and stop him or her. OTHERWISE we're just going to be killing zombies for all of eternity. That dragon will probably drop in occasionally to laugh at us."
If only I had more power, I don't want to be put in that situation again... I wonder what dragon tastes like.
Wait? That didn't sound like me... What is wrong with me?
"I know. I have no doubt that you could kill us both. I'm prepared to work. Let's get it over with. Glad to hear we're working with a specialist here," said Dodaer changing the subject. "I hope that means you know how to create them and kill them rather than only the former."

"Oh yes, anything you two knock down I can bring back on our side if need be. I am also quite efficient at stopping Mages in their tracks. Dodaer, you've seen the power of Urborg, I will probably be using it in battle, work around that if you must."
"Not that we should have much problems killing them," Xin muttered, disgruntled by the third man's aggressiveness towards them. "That's kind of my specialty."
OOC: Are you all walking and talking at the same time, or arguing in front of the dragon?

They love and hate to see me walk through the door. I'm the man with the box, one to carry all his Standard cards with him. I've got the commons and uncommons they need. But I've also got my decks. If I walk into FNM, I came to play. And they never know what I'm gonna pull out of my hat next. I may lose more than I win, but it just might be THIS deck that has all the answers that they don't have answers for. They fear the unknown. They fear me. And they never see me coming!
"Let's get a read on what we're dealing with here. Killing zombies doesn't sound hard until you know their numbers." Dodaer keeps walking searching to find where they're going to next.
"Keep in mind that there are some zombies that harm you when they are vanquished. We must deal with them first or we will all die." When they reached the entrance of the Dragon's den Roger turned to them and said. "Alright, lets do this, it shouldn't be too bad right? Just a hoard of undead."
You begin trekking farther up the weathered hills. After about 5 minutes of walking, you see three more cave mouths in the distance. The left-hand of the three is the lowest this time, with the right-hand one being the highest.

OOC: I had to make a correction for the positioning of the cave entrances. I misdrew my maps when I designed this part, so the description in the last post is fixed now.

"It could also be the highest up one. Afterall, where is the best place to show your command over your lesser beings than at the top?" said Dodaer, playing devil's advocate again.

Xin could only shrug helplessly. "I can see the point; I don't argue it." Scratching his chin, he could only sigh again. "Suppose it's nothing more than a guessing game, this time...it could be any of them."
"Well, standing around and arguing won't solve anything. How about we play a game of "who can hear moaning zombies." He went to the entrance of the nearest cave (bottom left) and listened for the sound of undead.
OOC: Also note that these tunnel entrances are about 75-100 feet away from each other.
You hear a faint smacking sound coming from the tunnel. You see that the tunnel goes straight in for a time, before either dead-ending or turning (you can't see which from the entrance).
You hear nothing coming from the tunnel entrance. You do however note that the tunnel goes in and then almost immediately turns sharply to the left.
You hear a faint rustling coming from farther down the tunnel. You also observe that the tunnel goes straight for a while, further than you can see clearly.

"I hear some rustling in this one..." Dodaer shouts back which was a little hard after running for so long. Between huffs and puffs, Dodaer manages to bellow out another shout. "What about you Xin?"
