"Well, I want to see how well you stand up in your abilities," Circu says, standing up. "Jeremy was granting you access; letting you in. Sure, he tried to keep things hidden, but the challenge there was working around the barriers."
He goes to the door, and motions for someone to come in.
"I want to see how you hold up under duress," he says.
"Oh, it will be," Circu says, with a grin. A man with a similar garb to Circu walks in the room. "What I want you to do, is find out who this man works for, and what guild is he a part of."
He looks back and forth between the man and Aramil. "Go."
He then summons a simple ball of water which joins the skull, orbiting around the man. They shoot out into Aramil's mind, ripping into his head, tearing the pink veil the mind puts over the world, and showing Aramil the true world. What is really there.
Aramil tensed. The images flooding his mind nearly brought himself to his knees.
Her hair. Her beautiful brunette hair. How can something so beautiful burn so easily? So quickly?
A sharp pain ran through Aramil's chest and seemed to snap him back into the moment. He had a mission to do, and wallowing in his old pains and sorrows wouldn't complete that task. Aramil took several deep breaths, and sent a few more intangible probes into his foe's mind as he called more mana to himself.
Aramil stood tall and smiled. "You did good, but you should have taken the chance to finish me off when you could have."
With a wave of his hand, Aramil called forth his third mana force, and a very visible cyclone began to circle his form. Holding his staff before him, Aramil tried to prepare himself for a readied stance when an audible pop came from his shoulder.
Trying not to double over in pain, Aramil did all he could to stay standing.
Then, with a final wave, Aramil was back in Talltrees, spending time with people for the first time since his wife died. He smiled, somewhat.
With his next breath, it was as if the battle hadn't even started.
OCC: Going to let him take an unsummon with that remove soul.
The pain wracked Aramil again, but he didn't falter. Instead, through shear force of will, Aramil drew more mana to himself, and waited for the next wave of power.
He summons another skull, and this one shoots out into Aramil's mind, removing another mental assault spell. Getting this ripped from his mind wounds Aramil once again. He then summons a small, strange creature.
Unlike the man, Aramil's plan came together perfectly.
With the fifth addition of mana to his repertoire, Aramil's cyclone intensified considerably. Then, with an extreme effort, Aramil closed his eyes and pulled the winds into his mind, and the area was calm for a second.
Then, Aramil opened his eyes and they shone a brilliant blue. As he did, his form exploded with wind and a misroblast flew across the room to collide with his opponent's mind, and creating a tempest in the man's thought processes.
"Now, let's see how powerful your defenses are," Aramil said under his breath.
"Good!" Circu says. He sounds pleased, but his jaw is clenched closed. "Thank you Deren. Please leave us. Get some rest, I expect you'll have a headache in the morning."
Deren leaves, while Circu sits down at the chairs. He fidgets with his hands for a moment, before telling Aramil: "Someone just informed me of some of the recent goings-on in Estark. Quite an interesting tale..."
"You probably wouldn't know the actual events, but I suspect you may know of the cause."
He glares at Aramil, and says "The foyer of House Lat-Nam has been destroyed. The front facade of the building has been severely damaged, and the doors are now non-existant."
He goes to the door, and motions for someone to come in.
"I want to see how you hold up under duress," he says.
OCC: Can I draw a mana to myself?
He looks back and forth between the man and Aramil. "Go."
OOG: Initiative time!
Instinctively, Aramil begins drawing mana to himself, and a small wind begins to spin around his body.

Quickly, Aramil casts his mindnet out, and quickly gathers it around his opponents mind, and goes about looking for a weakness to exploit.
The attempt to enter the man's mind doesn't do anything apparent.

Since he's in battle, getting in seems nearly impossible. The man's defenses are too strong. At least, for now.

The last thing Aramil "hears" before he enters Deren's mind is Circu whispering "what?!"
Images flash by, but Aramil quickly finds the names Circu's looking for.
Szadek
Dimir
The Tenth Guild
The guild that doesn't... that shouldn't... exist.
Aramil was surprised at his prowess. Though it was a hard fight, he was sill standing, and only a bead of sweat had found its way to his forehead.
Deren leaves, while Circu sits down at the chairs. He fidgets with his hands for a moment, before telling Aramil: "Someone just informed me of some of the recent goings-on in Estark. Quite an interesting tale..."
He glares at Aramil, and says "The foyer of House Lat-Nam has been destroyed. The front facade of the building has been severely damaged, and the doors are now non-existant."
"There is also another problem. While she was shouting for Barrin to face her, she mentioned you. By name."
