The three bats wing their way to the northwest, heading towards Benalia. A few flying creatures come close, but something about the bats drives them off. Or at least, none of them engage the group. After about six hours' journey, the trio see an ornithopter, still in pristine condition, sitting on a ledge where a cave entrance is also present.

Never forget: there's always someone bigger, better and stronger than you.
Someone once asked me why, when I talk about House Dimir, I don't put the word "the" in front of it.
At the time, I had no answer, but it just came to me.

Cyouni glances at the ornithopter. "That could be our target." He guided his bat down to the ledge. "Let's see if we can find anything that would identify who, or where, it came from."
The bat Suven is riding follows Cyouni obediently. As soon as it reaches the cliff, Suven jumps off, landing on all fours, gratefully hugging the ground.
"I wasn't made for flying." He grunts to himself, rubbing his stomach.

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.
Krush lands gracefully next to the bat. Oi! Joker! 'S matter, not used to traveling through the air? And my name is earned by my tribe elders. Not a topic I would bring up again were I you. Krush glares menacingly. Krush then walks over and inspects the ornithopter seeing if there were a way to dismiss it to carry it with him.
Cyouni brings his bat close to the ridge until it barely hovers above the ridge.
He gracefully jumps off, landing lightly on his feet.
He strides over to the ornithopter, examining it.
Cyouni glances at Krush. "Wait until we can see if this is our target."
Turning back to the ornithopter, he ponders, "Now, let's see..."
OOC: Do I have to roll a die to determine the ornithopter's origin or can I just tell where it's from?
OOC: It's an ornithopter. It bears no markings at all. No die roll will tell you where it's from.

With little urging, the ornithopter collapses into raw magic and then into what looks to be a renewable scroll with a small tag on it.

Cyouni curses. It wasn't what he had been looking for.
"Well, this looks to be our only lead. Let's go," he growled, tossing the scroll to Krush and striding into the cave.
