OCC: I hope we didn't just waist all of that time for nothing.
Aramil took a deep breath, held it for several moments, and then released it.
He walked into the room that Roger had just left, and then looked on the wheel on the wall. Walking over to it, he took a firm hold, and tried to move the wheel.
"Did he even test this?" Aramil thought to himself.
The wheel moves easily, though it does squeak slightly. Then, a louder metallic groan is heard from the other room. Roger, who is still standing in front of the metal door, notices the metal door rise up into the wall, showing a short hallway with a glowing blue orb at the far end. The outside edge of the orb is lighter than the center mass. Arcs of red and green lightning cross the orb and flit along the edge.

Never forget: there's always someone bigger, better and stronger than you.
Someone once asked me why, when I talk about House Dimir, I don't put the word "the" in front of it.
At the time, I had no answer, but it just came to me.
Do we put the word "the" in front of God?

After turning the wheel until it no longer budged, Aramil walked over to where he last blasted the door, and looked into the now exposed room.
Letting out a deep sigh, he said, "Well, I believe we have found what we're looking for. Let's go, shall we?"
Decidedly not waiting for an answer, Aramil walked forward, slowly, and watched the orb with caution. Instinctively, he chedked the aura of the orb, trying to see if it was the source of mana he felt moments before.
"I was so worried that that the chains were some sort of trap that..." But he stopped talking and followed behind Aramil, not that he could see him.
"I'm right behind you if you need me."
The aura of the orb is, quite clearly, very powerful and half blue.

The orb expands a bit until its outer edge is just touching the pair, then it recedes to an open portal in the wall. A voice rings out. "Welcome!"

Roger tries to make a gesture that said, "Aramil, you speak, I can't..." But, since he cannot be seen, he just thinks, Could you please handle this, I'm still invisible...
The voice is quite cheerful. "Not just you, Wizard. You both may enter!"

Roger shrugged. "Thank you." He began to wonder how the voice knew he was there...
Roger then said, "Well, here goes nothing. I'm going in." He then stepped through the portal in the wall.
The other side is a walkway made of blue light with arcs of green and red flowing through it. At the far end is a normal-looking wooden door.

OOC is this the same voice? Great... A blue orb appears near where Roger was standing. It looked like it was going to begin orbiting around him, but he made it stop.

"And yet, you are intruders and must be removed for the good of the continuity of the realm. Defend yourselves!"
Two creatures detach from the walls. Both seem to be made of swirling masses of blue, red and green energy, but, as you watch, the blue leaves them, and suddenly they are solely red and green energy. One meets Roger's eyes, despite the invisibility, the other looks at Aramil. Both conjure up green mana sources and summon elves.

Roger begins to wonder how something could stare at him while he was invisible, but ignores that thought, it could see him before, why not now. "I'm glad you made that so clear to us before..." He rolled his eyes, not that anyone could see him.

Aramil drew more mana to his form, and the slight breeze circling his form increased to a steady gust.
Aramil drew upon the storm he was creating, holding his hands out to his side with the palms facing upward. As soon as he did, wing started swirling around his hands as he collected an orb of blue mana in each hand. Then, with lightning speed, Aramil brought his hands together and combined the orbs. In an instant, he shot his hands outward, sending a microburst of wind at the creature looking at him, severing its connection to its mana source.

Roger feels a jolt of electricity pulse through his body as the creature makes contact with him. He stiffens up for a short second, but recovers as the creature fades into nothingness.
A wave of corruption appears in the tunnel, adding a tinge of black magic to everything in sight. It all stems from an orb that appears to pull light into it, if one could see it, they would see a small mask etched into the orb. Then, using this new source Roger fires a ball of energy at the mountain. With a loud snap it disappears.
A red orb comes out of the creature and forms into a similar copy of the one it just sent to attack (OOC: Discarding a second Spark Elemental).
