Tai grunted at Osark and gave a weak smile. "Some Llanowar Tea would be very nice, Sir Osark."
OOC: This is assuming I can start acting now.
Tai draws a calming breath, and a marble pillar appears at his side, with a glyph aglow on it. "I can hold them off for a little while. Gather your forces!"
OOC: I have no idea how we're doing turn order here, so I'm going to go now. If I'm out of turn, then whoever is supposed to go can have two turns, or whatever Ti'rin decides. Like I said, I'm clueless right now.
IC: Empty Square doubles over as the attacking Quagnoth slices into him. "Of course, it would have to be something that I can't handle on my own. Fantastic!" Dropping another mana source, he summons a Lumengrid Warden.
"Greetings," says the Warden. He turns and bows to Empty Square. "What would you ask of me, my lord?" Empty Square points to the Quagnoth. The Warden's face remains expressionless. "Oh my, that is a nasty one. Very well, it seems I will have a short life, but a meaningful one."
Easud ignores Tai's question as he sends the goblin in front of the beast. Then he quickly draws more mana to himself and two more goblins replace the first. He looks over at Tai I'm fine, but don't break your concentration just to check on others, I appreciate the sentiment, but we have more pressing matters.
Tai chuckles. "It appears we're on the same page, Easud. But don't worry about my concentration. As of right now, the wellbeing of my comrades is paramount."
OOC: I was thinking that both Square and WUBRG had 1-drops. Once damage is dealt, then any and all of you can go. eddy and Giga should be on their first turn, and WUBRG and Square on their second.
Since it seems that everyone has taken their turns following the creatures . . .
All four creatures rush past, striking as they do, and then they wheel around for another swift run. They split off and attack the same ones they attacked before.

Osark whirls around to confront the creatures, and pulls his hood further down to protect himself from the glare emanating in front of him. When he sees that the beasts can't get through, he grins and gestures upward. Immediately, a pillar bursts out of the ground next to him, and his eyes begin to glow. A jet of light, glowing pale green, shoots out of one of his fingers and forms into an elf in front of him. He calls to Easud in an unnaturally deep voice, "Easud! Remember that the poison in those goblins of yours does not affect the beasts! Try to time their death so they do not kill either my elf or Square's warden. I've got something nasty planned for them."

OOC: Guys, if any of your creatures need a leg-up, just tell me.
Tai let a slight grin emerge. Another glyph appears on the pillar near Tai, which he promptly draws power from. A screech is heard nearby, as a hawk dives, and perches on Tai's shoulder.
As the glare recedes, Empty Square speaks to his Warden. "Looks like you get to live a bit longer," he says. "Now, what to do..." Dropping another mana source, he contemplates his choices. He certainly had a few. "Well, I think I'll play it safe," he decides. He brings another Lumengrid Warden into existence.
"My services exist for you, Empty Square," the new Warden says. The other moves over to shake his hand. "Fancy to see you here!" the new one says. "I would have thought you'd kicked the bucket by now."
"My philosophy is to let my creatures do what they want. That way they're more inclined to do their jobs. For example, these Wardens take pride in sacrificing their bodies to protect their master. The ones in my service were ranked in the top ten for most career deaths. If they want to talk, they might as well. It makes their work go by faster."
"As a green mage, that is my highest priority-preserving the balance of nature, which I take to mean protecting our own creatures. Minimal casualties are always welcome, except on the other side."
Osark's eyes glow marginally brighter, and the pillar in front of him swells, growing a picture of a village in the trees. With a flick of his fingers, another jet of light fans out and turns into an identical elf.
"Square. Remember that you must tell your wardens to intercept the beast together. Otherwise, I won't have enough power to help you kill yours. I have decided on a less costly method of killing mine, but it will take me a while."
Easud is, oddly, relieved when he sees the white light wash across the field, saving his creatures. When he hears Osark's request he looks over at Square Ok, my poison needs somewhere to go, and your creatures seem the heartiest of all, so will you allow me to direct any poison at one of your's, so long as it does not result in it's death?
He then realizes that there are still disgusting beasts trying to tear out his throat, so he quickly extends his mana circle and a black rune appears at his hand and is soon followed by a Gutless Ghoul
"If it's all the same to you, Easud, I need my Wardens to be as strong as possible. Tai and I have a plan to deal with mine, and my Wardens must be in top condition for it to work. I'm sorry, but I can't help this time."
CURSE YOUUUUUUUUUUUU. Easud jumps over to Square and cuts his throat and drinks his lifeblood. After going into a bloody rage and killing the others he runs off screaming into the forest and is never seen again.[/disturbing fantasy]
I understand, but we need someplace for the poison to go, and my creatures aren't really good for that either, they may share the rot, but they are not immune to it's effects.
Easud shoots Tai a withering glance. His voice dripping with sarcasm he snaps
Patient, right. I mean, I suppose a person should be extremely level headed when there are a pack of disgusting lizards trying to tear his throat out, how could I be so foolish? What do you want to do white mage? Sit down and talk about feelings with these monsters? Maybe you should just back off, shut up and keep casting that little light trick of yours.
OOC: Wow, I have some seriously pent up aggression in me! No offense GG, just our characters interacting.
Tai's eye flashed. His voice dropped to a snarl. "Why I'm sorry, Sir Easud. I was too busy keeping you from becoming a meal for these beasts to have noticed our mortal peril. Or to have noticed that rather than one of those abominations you call goblins in the field, and one in the belly of those monstrosities, you have two of those...things at your command. Perhaps it would behoove you to consider that a strategic battle would serve better than throwing fodder at them."
OOC: Hey, none taken. Good RP'ing isn't necessarily pretty.
The four creatures make their next attacks and wheel around for another attack run.
