Just a note, my character seriously hates wizards. He views them as akin to thieves, who don't have any magic for themselves, so they take it without permission. Here's hoping we don't have a wizard in the group.
Well then, it seems we'll have some conflict...
But I am a cleric too... so I'm not just stealing magic.
Nope, you are stealing magic AND being a sanctimonious prick while doing so, perfectly in flavor
Oh, I really hope there won't be chaotic stupid people in this campaign...
Oh yeah, and Yukora would like to inform you all that my new nickname is 'Library' due to my devotion to knowledge and my 7 maxed out knowledge skills.

Nope, only Lawful Sadistic (tm).

Teaching without verbosity,
producing without possessing,
creating without regard to result,
claiming nothing,
the Sage has nothing to lose.

To be fair, my character respects Clerics. Especially since he himself is granted divine spells by his deity. So he might not hate the wizard quite as much as he normally would.
Still, anyone who writes their spells in a book is suspect at best.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p

Well, then it will just make it interesting.
At least we're not dealing with "spell book = death!!!!1!11!"
Plus, he'll have a fellow Sage in the party. Just let him ***** at her.

I've attached a map of the known world in the Southern Kingdoms. Some of you will remember that the Northwestern section of the map is connected to the trade routes which lead farther north to the lands where the events of the Adytum of the Conclave took place.
Unlike the realm of the Blue Empress, these Southern Kingdoms are thoroughly divided and war with one another frequently. The cities listed are the capitals of the different kingdoms and city-states. The main cultural groups that interact on a regular basis before reaching the entrepôt of Srivayyad can be categorized as East, West and South.
Can we start in Varsi, if only because its name means shaft in Finnish? (Shaft, stalk, rod, stem, the part you hold to when you hold something, such as a hammer. A thin and long part of an object.)

I like it. I'm changing my vote from "Not this because it's got scary desert" to "Hey, look, lots of water and less landmass. Good place for powerful storms to form. Let's hang out there!"

Wait, is extorting gold from a city by threatening to call up a bunch of tornados to level the place considered "naughty"?
Depends, is blackmailing someone extorting gold from a city by threatening to call up a bunch of tornadoes to level the place considered "naughty"?

Yay Finnish names + someone else who knows Finnish (better than me)!
Are there any sort of viking cultures in this land?
Vikings would be deep, deep south. Very isolated from the known world. This area is pretty much right on the equator. The Blue Empire lands are more subtropical to Mediterranean, and the Northern Kingdoms are temperate to subarctic.
Should be fairly damp here, get oil to keep your weapons in good condition, guys. At least tornadoes do not happen naturally since we do not have coriolis effect at the equator.

My character would love to throw down with a bad guy in the middle of a hurricane. Especially since one of his feats increases the caster level of spells he casts during a storm.
EDS: Oh good, another chaotic neutral sage to hang out with. For some reason I thought Yukora's character was going to be CG.

Guess you guys would all rather be modern anti-heroes, eh? Makes me feel less bad about butchering you.
We're already going to get a massive bath in goodsauce with Caex's campaign. It will be fun to play on the other side of the fence.
