This is where I got arctic elf from. It does not seem that complicated, I was just looking around on that website you gave us.It would really be for RPing only, so I'll just be a normal elf.
I would like to make this into a full fledged campaign.
Where might I find the list of animal companions. On that website all I could find was "Alternate Animal Companions" and that started at level 4. I will look around the player manual and such tonight
Avatar, that little analysis was literally done as I typed it. I knew about the alignments already, but the numbers and other analysis was done as it was being typed.
Fair enough on the decline of the Tiefling, but I felt I ought to ask anyway.
It's why I prefer Forgotten Realms, the sheer number of deities makes for more of a balance. Even if there are three more good deities than evil, that's three out of several hundred, not 3 out of 19.

@AoJ (I almost wrote Jadyn, then I changed it to GM, lol): We I just found in my 3.0 rulebook "It can have up to 2 Hit Dice (While the druid is level 1, the particular animal is loyal enough to stay with her, even though an adventuring druid can only maintain animal friends whose HD total up to her level)" So ha!
Anyway, I am going to use this handbook to make my char. If something changed in 3.5, tell me now.
@ AoK: I would like a fox, but will happily settle for wolf.
Video: In 3.0 a druid (or ranger for that matter) used a special spell called Animal Friendship to call his companion. This is no longer the case. If you want a fox, then a fox you shall have. Base it off the weasel from the SRD, with the following changes:
lose rage ability
lose burrow speed
Gain +10ft movement
Gain +4 racial bonus to Hide checks made in a wooded environment
And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.
The only reason I was pointing out the updated class is that there are some differences between the book you have and the current class. Most of it is the same, but some isn't.
I guess you can go arctic; no huge deal.
Guys, stay away from most of the broken crap in UA, all right? First person that asks for an item familiar dies in unholy fire.
Arctic fox difference is that it's cold-tolerant; something not likely to come into play here but could be useful later.
And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

The arctic landscape is dotted here and there with permanent fog banks caused by subterranean heat interacting with snow and ice or warm springs steaming in the freezing air. Hidden in these oases of warmth are the ancient settlements of the elves.
I dont think I will be one, but me character did grow up in a snowy forest.

There are a LOT of ice spells, even for druids. Later on, I know of a prestige class that I believe you would like quite a bit
As for the shield, let me look at something, because I actually believe there is a material that does just what you're looking for. I need to see if it's level appropriate, first. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Firstly, I don't really know what a prestige class is
Secondly, I am writing my char info down on a 3.0 character sheet for my usage. I will transfer it here, but it there is something that that is missing (Grapple? Touch/Flat-footed AC?)
Finally, HP is the hit dice + con modifier, right
EDIT: Oh, and how many spells do I get?
Also, I see the following phrase, but it never gives numbers. Can you bring light to it? :"In addition, she receives bonus spells per day if she has a high Wisdom score."
Also, Did Deities go with 3.0? I can't find them on the 3.5 website
Ok after seeing the list of what everyone is becomeing I do beleive I choose to be a bard or a rogue. Havn't officially decided but its one or the other. (i wanted to be a psychic warrior but still didn't do it to less complicate things). Oh and avatar I gotta start with my insturment if I'm a bard. Its just not right otherwise. As for character building I will work on that tomorrow. (one step at a time one step at a time).

Bonus spells are based on your relevant ability. For druids, that's Wisdom. Check the abilities chapter of your Player's Handbook, for starting character scores (3-20), those didn't change much.

For a 16, you'll have one bonus 1st level spell (and a 2nd, but don't worry about that yet), unless I'm grossly mistaken. You never get bonus 0th level spells, a fact I find ridiculous.

That's exactly how it works, Avatar. You're not mistaken at all. 16-17 would grant 1 bonus level 1, 1 bonus level 2 and 1 bonus level 3. Of course, for most casters, accessing the level 2 and level 3 are not permitted until class levels 3 and 5, respectively.

I figured two things were happening:
1. It's still relatively early, perhaps you're not entirely with it yet.
or
2. You were just letting him know that he only gets 1 right now and that he'll get another when he levels a couple of times.
Also, what does Precocious Apprentice do?

It lets you cast one 2nd level spell, which means it's useful only at very low levels, with a few drawbacks such as having to make a caster level check and such. It's also how some people manage their way into early entry into certain prestige classes, but that's a DM call.
Now, what book was that in again....
And you're right, it IS early...my brain doesn't actually function correctly until 5pm or so. It's too BRIGHT out there
