Last call was shouted from the bartender as Ray hazily stumbled toward the washroom, only now coming to the realization that he shouldn't have had so much to drink. To his dismay, the washroom was packed with men who had similar urges, none of them making much of an effort to keep the place clean as towels were strewn everywhere.
The lightning adept who was in charge of the bar had nodded off, leaving the entire building in a flickering strobe of confusion. Needless to say, this was turning out to be a rough night for Ray.
Ray decides it would be best if he went outside for a quick breath of fresh air. Hazily trying to find the exit and not stumble. He thinks for himself, "How did I get myself into this mess." The flickering light didn't help to his nauseous headache, and he decided to close his eyes, still trying to find the exit.
Just before he reached the door, a vaguely familiar voice called out. When he turned, he saw that nobody was talking to him but he could have sworn that he heard someone say "going somewhere?"
"What? Who was that?"
Ray looked around the place, for any recognizable person. Trying not to get a worse headache, and walked close towards the door, still looking for the voice.
"I'm just getting a breath of fresh air."

It's time to get out of the desert and into the sun.
As he exited, someone tapped his shoulder. She ran in front of him and smiled, "had one too many tonight?"
The girl was Hina, Ray's sister's long-time best friend. Ray was a year older than his sister and he assumed that Hina was her age. The girl was tall and slim with dark orange hair and a vivacious personality. She was wearing a low-cut brown blouse, dark blue jeans and a brilliant smile.
"Hah, yeah, just a bit. What are you doing in these neck of the woods?" Ray said lazily, trying not to collapse.
He looks for the most comfortable place to sit down.

A large half-drunken looking man was staring at him with malice in his eyes. Ray vaguely recognized him, but didn't know who he was until Hina called out, "Riz, he's just a friend. Chill out."
"Long story" she muttered, rolling her eyes as she took a wary step toward the man, placing her hand on his chest tenderly, "it's just my friend's brother. There's nothing to be mad about."
Riz scoffed and pushed Hina away, a bit too forcefully for Ray's liking. He grinned at Ray, "hitting on your sis' friends? That's sick, man."
Ray began to get angered with this guy, still half drunken, and didn't like that fact that this man pushed Hina. "Woah, I'm not hitting on anyone." Ray then stod up and pushed the man. "Mind your own business."

She was cut off as a man's voice came from behind Ray, "hey, a**h**e! What do you think you're doing?"
