Before Kia could reply, the waitress returned with their food and placed it in front of them. Kia stared at it curiously before looking up at Kiego, "hmmm... this looks interesting. If it makes me sick, I'm trusting that you'll be the one who will take care of me tonight."
"Alright, It's a deal, but I'm hoping your going to love it."
And with that, Kiego promptly took a piece of tuna and through it into his mouth, letting the cool, fishy flavor wash over him. "Wow, this is a real good batch."
Kia slowly took a piece and slid it into her mouth, chewing it slowly before swallowing and smiling, "not bad. It's... different and I still think I prefer plants but... it's not as bad as I thought it would be." The girl smiled at him, "thanks again for suggesting this place, Kiego."
"No problem, it's always good to try new things, it's part of visiting new places...by the way, I don't think you said why you were in town. Is it business...or maybe pleasure?" Kiego said. He quickly popped another piece of tuna into his mouth, smiling while he chewed.
"Ummm" she pondered, not sure how to respond, "pleasure... I think. I was asked to come here by a very influential man and he helped arrange my travels but he pretty much left me to my own devices. He's a very nice man..."
"Oh, so your on vacation basically? Well, I don't really know what kind of tourist things there are to do in the city. I guess tomorrow I could point you in the direction of a museum or two before I head off to work."
"Ummm... no, not like this" she remarked, enjoying it immensely, "but I would love to tell everyone about it... I think some of my friends would love it. Do all leaves work or just ones from the tea plant?"
"Mostly just from tea plants...and you know there's hot chocolate from the cocoa plant, and I'm sure a bunch of other drinks from ground up plants as well."
Kiego took another sip of his tea and munched on another piece of fish. "I've never been too interested in using my power to grow food, but I think it's definitely something I could see myself getting into some time down the road."
Kia beamed as she enjoyed the foreign flavours, "that's basically what we use our abilities for... food and medicine. Occasionally clothing and the odd... erm... extra curricular things." They ate ravenously before finishing the meal. The girl sighed, "well I'm stuffed... thanks again." She placed some coins on the table and stood up, "shall we be off to your place?"
"Yes, I think that is a wise decision," Kiego answered her, beaming. He quickly put the last piece of sushi into his mouth, and then promptly stood up. He gave a quick wave to their waitress, and followed Kia to the door.
Kia smiled at him as they walked the still busy but slowly dissipating, "so where's your place and your charismatic roommate? I'd like to hear more about what makes you say such a thing."
"Well, the apartment shouldn't be too far. It should only be another five minutes away. As for Marche...he's...just outgoing. He really likes people."
Kiego racked his brain for ways to explain his roommate for Kia, but that was about the best he could come up with.
"I guess you'll just have to wait and see when you meet him."
"Okay, I'll take your word for it" she trusted with a friendly smile. If there was one thing he had to pick that he liked about her was that she was always smiling... not to mention his uncanny connection with her through the accendo.
Kiego couldn't help but notice how connected he was to Kia through the accendo, but it seemed even odder because she was so mysterious. It seems like she had opened up to him some over dinner, but he still felt as if he didn't know her that well.
Continuing along the sidewalk, both of them finally came upon a large brick building, a small sign saying "Perona Apartments" was above the door.
"Here we are, Marche and I live on the third floor, follow me."
"Well... thank you so very much. If there's anything you need so that I can make this up to you, just name it." Kia smiled as she entered the apartment, looking around the building and obviously looking out for Marche.
"I don't think he would mind our all, I'll bet he'll be excited when he meets you," Kiego then looked quickly around the apartment. "Marche! You home?"
The apartment was relatively clean, well as clean as one shared by two guys could be. There was a kitchen area, complete with an island sitting area. Beyond the kitchen was a lounge area with two worn couches, and an oddly well-made, high end coffee table. A few shelves full of books lined the walls as well as some artwork to make the apartment feel more like a home. Beyond the living room were two different bathrooms both connected to two different bedrooms.

Despite Kia's aura of mysteriousness, it sure was fun to flirt with her.
OOC: Okay, I'm calling it a night, see ya.

Kiego told Kia with obvious sarcasm. He opened the door to the apartment and then turned back to look at her, smiling jovially.

"Follow me , we're room B32."
Kiego led her up a set of stairs, leading to the third level. Eventually he came to the apartment door, got out his keys, and entered.
"Here we are, welcome to my home!"
"Thanks, Kiego" she gleefully appreciated as she followed him, looking around, "is Marche home? I hope he doesn't mind me staying over..."
