Garth felt a finger on his lips, indicating that he should be completely silent as she took his hand and pulled him along. Not being able to see her made it very difficult to know what she was doing.
The first thing that struck Garth was the smell of the inside of the building. A subtle fruity scent tried in vain to mask the overwhelming aroma of sweat and god only knew what else.
The two of them were in a dimly lit hallway with 3 doors on either side of it and a stairwell at the end.
Garth felt a tug at his arm, pulling him toward the stairwell. He also realized that she was a wind adept and could see him clearly using the air around him; it was only him that was had no idea where she was. For a fleeting moment, he was worried that she would suddenly disappear and leave him all alone in this undesirable place.
