Abilities:
Liya is good in finding streams of water, either on the surface or under the ground.
She is also skilled in stealthing herself from people their sights, or at least so that they don't pay attention to her.
So, I guess Thellotar really shouldn't be able to know who Liya is.
But now he could know (see my post before this):
She noticed her hood was still on and it would be confusing to hear a woman speak from under it while you thought it was a man, so she took it of, revealing her young but beautiful face.
"You never answered my question," remarked Bellamin to Thellotar. To the general crowd, he said, "Wow! What a group! This'll be interesting, once we start training, but what is taking the commanders so long?"
Sammy saw Liya take of the hood and was slightly shocked to see that she was a girl, who looked to be about his age. "Well, it is nice to meet you. Where are you from? I come from a nearby village where my parents have lived forever. I haven't quite been traveling as long as some of these people" He laughed slightly.
Aruven smiles and shakes his hand. "I'm Aruven." She says slowly. "Wow! What a group! This'll be interesting, once we start training, but what is taking the commanders so long?" She hears the words of the man and sighs. It indeed was a strange group.

We have laboured long to build a heaven, only to find it populated with horrors.
OOC Landil: I was unaware of that. So did I notice you or not? I think it's your decision here.
OOC Darksys92: I say you didn't see Liya until she takes her hood of when she is in front of Sammy/videojuegos.
Liya started to tell with her sweet voice, she noticed the air around her was very cold, she shivered, then the words started coming from her lips:
"I've been away from home for five years now, but when I left it was burned and I had lost all I cared for." Liya's smile had faded, memories of her past were painful.
"I don't know where it exactly was", she continued, "far away, a bit isolated.
So how are you?" she asked, leaving this story behind, she didn't want to talk about it.
OOC sammy/videojuegos: it must be strange for Sammy to hear that Liya is from home for 5 years, because she looks so young.
OOC Faerie Lord: we are outside, just to let you know (see first post)
Liya sees another elven woman enter the grounds from the corners of her dark, mysterious eyes.
For just a moment she scans the grounds to note the state of the others, then she returns her eyes to face Sammy and look him in the eyes.
OOC: Ya, i knew you looked young (hence when i said you were about my age)
Hearing her story Sammy looks down at the ground unhappy for a second, but then looked up and smiled "Well then I guess we have a lot in common" He then sat down. "I'm kinda nervous. I want to fight for my country, but I don't want to die, but i guess there is no turning back now" As he spoke, he was playing with a small gust of wind and sending it through his hair.
Thellotar muttered. "Bellamin, I'm sorry. I.. cannot remember my origins or where I learned that sort of magic from. A mysterious seer once told me some, but it was far too horrifying. I don't want you to be afraid." He pointed towards the sky. "Besides,we've got far worse things to worry about!"
OOC to everyone: Okay, so maybe I'm deliberately trying to create a conflict. I just want some real action and not pointless chatter.
"Don't be afraid of death, Sammy." Liya reaches out her right hand and gentally puts it on Sammy's shoulder "I faced death once and I have seen some of people most beloved with me die in front of my eyes, I can see in your eyes you did too." She looked him in the eyes, she could see it there in the darkness of his pupils, the fear of death ...
"You can stay with me as long as we are together, I don't mean you harm." she whispered, just loud enough for Sammy to hear, but not loud enough to reach any other ears.
Then she heard another voice saying something: "Besides, we've got far worse things to worry about!"
She turned around, then shiftly pulled her hood over her head.
Liya remained silent, not moving, nor making sound, just watching and listening. What is that human talking about? she thought ...
Aruven sighs and looks at Liya. That girl seemed to be able to talk courage into just about anyone. There was no apparent reason for her to be here. She's able to get lots of other, better jobs then this one. Aruven sighs. She'd have to ask Liya about it when she was alone some time.
The others around her kept on squabbling about other unimportant things, just like her. There wasn't anything to talk about, but they were afraid of the silence, afraid to wait for what was coming. The few that weren't anxious were bragging about their accomplishments...
The train of thought is stopped as she hears the human behind her. Besides, we're got far worse things to worry about! She looks at the man and follows his stretched out arm.

Sammy again stands up next to Liya. He seemed newly confident, so much so that the Thellator's words did not seem to phase him much, however, he did turn to see what he was speaking of.
There was a sudden blast of a trumpet. A single sustained note that lasted around ten seconds. Then the note dropped off to be joined by a second trumpet in a cord. Both play a single, short song in unison. The kind of announcing song that a king or queen gets when they enter a room. Then there's the creak of metal straining as the drawbridge is slowly lowered. Each of them can hear clink after clink as the chain passes through the tiny holes in the top of the wall. They hear a loud 'thud' as it slams home.
Next is a similar sound of clinking as the portcullis is raised. It goes slowly, and each of them can just about imagine the weight of it, and imagine the strain of the people working to lift it. They can see, past it, holes in the walls of the tunnel where archers can lie in wait to kill invaders. Sharp eyes may even see the tips of arrows in those holes.
Finally, the grand gate starts to creak open. Starts to. Very, very slowly.
"I may seem weak, but I've seen awful things in my life. I'm not too easily scared..." Bellamin replies to Thellotar, who turns around to the sound of the trumpets. He shudders with anticipation and cold as the gate opens. "So it seems it begins, eh, Thellotar?"
"So it seems Bellamin." Thellotar had a scowl on his face. He was not exactly line with the higher figures of society, no doubt who would soon enter through the gate.
Liya stays on her guard, watching the gate.
She immediately saw that the place was heavily fortified, it could only be taken by force or by a very well coördinated plan.
For a second she looks from Thellotar to Sammy and to the new one that just entered, another elf, then she looks back at the gate waiting for things to come.
"Ah, it seems things are getting lively! I believe we should go to the newly raised gate and see what the fuss is." *Krensae starts towards the raising portcullis without a backward glance*

MTG: The RPG Character: Zenith RIP Krensae Fluidtail: Sleep well with the fish
The gate drew completely open before the recruits. Any who started early were promptly bawled at by their superiors before being pulled back, being told that starting early gets you killed in battle. Behind the gate...
There were around soldiers back there. Roughly fifty, if any recruits actually made the attempt to count. All standing at attention. Armor polished, hilts of their swords gleaming. All standing as if they've been waiting just for the recruits. In front of were officers, obviously. Better quality armor and weapons. One per line of soldiers in the formation. In front of them, one officer per two line leaders. So on until that pyramid reached a woman.
She could only be a woman; the armor she was wearing was custom made just for her, and it made it quite obvious. But her stance, the large scratches and dents in her shining armor, and the sword at her side, said that any that made light of the fact would regret it soon enough.
The officers leading the recruits didn't move yet.
Well, this is it. Liya thought, she looked around with her dark eyes, scanning the whole line of soldiers and officers until she ended up at the woman in the middle, Commander Fera, I guess. she was almost certain.
Still she was holding her ground as if she was bound to it, not moving, nor making any sound, she was just waiting for things to come.
Sammy stood near Liya, as she looked like she knew what she was doing more than he did. He was stunned by the apparent power of all the soldiers, but he recognized the lady quickly. So, this is Fera, I guess what mom said about her was true
Liya looked to her side and noticed that Sammy was standing next to her, for a moment she looked him in the eyes, then turned back to facing the soldiers and their commander.
For the first time that she came here she was unsure of the situation, she didn't know what to do.
Why had she come here in the first place, she didn't know ...
Some feeling she couldn't explain had drawn her to this place, now she couldn't turn away, Maybe this is my destiny ..., she told herself, still uncertain about it.
Part of her wanted to run away, but it was like she was rooted to place she stood, part of her hungered to know what the future would bring her behind these walls.
Deciding that standing still and wait was the best thing she could do she did that ...
Thellotar stood in awed silence. He could feel something in the air, a gust of sheer power having come into his presence, almost like a storm was pouring from out within the soldiers.
So, I guess Thellotar really shouldn't be able to know who Liya is.
But now he could know (see my post before this):
I have 15 cookies in my cookie jar.
Sammy saw Liya take of the hood and was slightly shocked to see that she was a girl, who looked to be about his age. "Well, it is nice to meet you. Where are you from?
