hello my name is tucker i have a spot on the school news paper and can write well and enjoy to do so i draft almost every week and also play at PtQ's, JSS etc i hope i can be of assistence to you pm me.
thanks ,tucker
If you write so well, why don't you use capitals where they should be used? Also, giant run-ons should be kept to instant messenges; these are forums where users should use properly punctuated (and grammatically correct) English in their posts.
Well, my strategies are hardly extensive, so I doubt that I will be able to write an entire column about why I think 3 Chome Moxes are the way to go in Ponza.
However, when I get news about cards coming up in upcoming sets, I have a special talent for predicting whether or not they will effect the current Standard environment. Once Saviors starts to flow in, I'll be glad to help.
I'll give you an example of somthing that happened over in 'news...
WTF? No way will this replace Broodstar. You must be drunk!
In case you were wondering, this was after I said that the new Arcbound Ravager was going to fit into Affinity.

Does the example article we submit have to be Magic related, or can it be anything as long as we show off our writing skills? I'm assuming since, "casual is casual," that it's okay if we're not experts at playing Magic.
I don't speak for all the forum writers, but I believe ideally we want a group of writers that can continue to produce. I mean, if you have god like qualities, and this will be the last article before you die, then i guess it'd be alright. Talk to Wolfwood though.
I just thought of like the 78th best idea I've had all week... Can I...write about...(suspensfull amirite)...new casual formats?
I'm sure at some point Emperor sounded kooky and boring, but now look at it. It's pretty mediocre. How cool is that? I can brainstorm new formats like WHO IS YOUR DADDY AND WHAT DOES HE DO* You've never heard of it, but I bet you want to play. * not a real format
hehe I think I just got rejected by Wolf! Meh its what I expected. By the way heres just a little idea that maybe you want to toy with. How about a humour section? People can post funny stories or comics they have made etc.

Being that I'm sort of out of touch with the formatted play of Magic, but still find casual magic to be the thing for me to do, I was wondering if you would consider any articles on just good ol' casual magic? Or are you trying to focus more on traffic attractive articles (i.e., about T2 or extended)?
Casual Articles run every Saturday. It's just that lately they've been taken up by Goblinboy's 3CB articles.

Sing lustily and with good courage.
Be aware of singing as if you were half dead,
or half asleep:
but lift your voice with strength.
Be no more afraid of your voice now,
nor more ashamed of its being heard,
than when you sang the songs of Satan.
Send a sample of your work to Wolfwood, and he'll decide whether to give you access to the Writers' forum and whatnot.

I am a proficient writer in many respects, however, I do not know if I have any pertinent information to write about. I do not attend tournaments and only play casual magic, trading and playing alongside semi-serious players and their weekly deck changes.
In a sense, I live in my own world, with a transparent wall blocking me from true Magic the Gathering topics and subjects. What would qualify as decent MTGSalvation Magic articles to be shown on the site, or works that you would want to view for submission as a writer?
This website along with many others need to have writers with creative ideas. Usually all the websites have the same ideas and decklists that "they" would use in a tournament when in fact I saw the same deck in another website like five minutes ago. Then again that's just my opinion.

"And talk about a preachy book, everyone's a sinner....'cept for this guy."
Perhaps we should make decks with memnarch and mindslaver in them that would be original.
Anyway I'll try to get an interesting article in some time this weekend. Shouldn't be lengthy and it'll likely only be half accepted, but hopefully it will create a lot of discussion.
