I'm not going back to MTGnews. I'll be here unless the community dissolves, or all decides to move back, or goes somewhere else. As long as this is where the people are, I'll be here too!

The funny irony there, rancored, is that many in the community will go wherever you do. We (myself included) follow the rumors, and you're the best source of them out there. So you could set up shop anywhere and you'll more than likely witness a flock of rumor-starved worshippers. heh

As long as there are people and threads that I want to talk to/post on at both sites, I'll continue to divide my time.

Staying here, because MTGnews would never send me the confermation e-mail.

Just making observations and posing some questions-

Being an objective observer here, since back on the other site I have been just lazy and haven't post on consecutive days for half a year now, but does anyone else think that the two sites are mutually destroying one another because of this whole "conflict?"

And if the two sites could part ways, would old sentiments emerge anyway and create problems for future growth of either site(IE Flaming War)?

And does anyone think this could all be resolved by the heads at both forums at some point?

I agree that this is mutually dsestructive behavior.

If we parted, I honestly think that would require having relatively independant user bases, and if that were to happen, I honestly think 'News would die, so no, I don't think there'd be a flame war.

There is no real head at this forum that speaks for us all, and Raa is very detached from the community,, so no.

So in an honest opinion, how many and what kind of posters would stay with mtgnews.com and the same for mtgsalvation.com?

Now that most of my favorite card-creating threads are here, and the rumors also, I have no need to go back to MTGnews. For now.

Fact is, I may have a huge number of posts over at the MTGN forums, but that can't compare with what I have here, staff that cares. S_S was an unbelievable egomaniac, but that doesn't change ANY of the underlying problems that MTGN had. MTGS is so much better in all these respects, I see now reason to ever leave.

I'll be staying, MTGNews is beyond repair plus this site is better than MTGN

As far as I'm concerned, I'm not leaving Salvation. It's just too shiny, with the 'Mill and smilies and all. (TNK: How do I request to get the halo over here? :D)

But I'm also not leaving 'News - at least, not yet. I'm interested in seeing what happens at this point, and maybe helping them evolve it. :slant: We'll see...

I believe this site will be my new home from now on. Because it exists, I have given myself a new purpose for posting on a MTG website once more. The whole experience of "new" makes me post with more frequency.

I'm with whoever gets me more hits on my cab and trade threads.

I see no reason to abandon MTGnews. All the BS will settle down soon. Look at the fact that the heavy-handed S_S has now been replaced. I see MTGsalvation as another fine Magic forum that I will add to my list of Magic-Related sites that I frequent, not as a replacement for MTGnews.

staying here.. but still lurking around the 'news every once in a while

'news has lost its feel. ill be there now and again just to make sure things die down as far as hostility goes and make sure at least a few people know that we are not all about burning every memeber of 'news at the steak. meh, give me about a month and im gonna be posting mainly on alvation.
