R_E's password was changed for security reasons. He is still banned. No one is impersonating him, no one is going in and reading anything.

In 5 years on MTGnews I never had a reason to worry about security. vB3 is known for being secure forum software. If this was about security, why not just close (ban) my account? Anyone who has used vB knows that doing so shuts down everything about the account. Instead, I'm not banned, my password doesn't let me log in, but someone has been logging into my account.

Actually, this is not entirely correct. When R_e and Jeff resigned the first time, Scott contacted Greg and offered his services, not the other way around. I"m not entirely sure what their personal/professional relationship is, but, Scott initiated the contact.

I'm not too familiar with how one becomes listed on findmagiccards.com. Do the vendors listed pay a fee in order to be listed? If so I would think that some of them would raise an eyebrow when the news broke that Raa and S_S have business ventures together.

There was definite evidence that "someone" had been logging in as me (and we know that S_S admitted to the mod team at News that it was him). I can't go into details, but it's clear that he contacted or tried to contact and reply to my sources (even though I deleted all PMs before quitting, in case something like this were to happen). Many of my options had been changed. Of course, no posts had been made.
I probably won't need to post with the account, but at least it's not hijacked anymore and being used to try and get information from my sources, or impersonate me. You have little or no idea what it's like to know that somebody has locked you out of your account and is doing goodness-knows-what in there as if they're you. Very upsetting. Now that I have my account back, you can PM me on News, but I won't check there often, so why bother?
I also got an email from Raa, in which he said he was sorry for what happened and he hopes we can mend fences. I don't know what to think, after all this... but I suppose it's a nice gesture.

It's sad the lengths to which S_S went to not look dumb for driving you out. Oh well. Maybe now we can actually get to the point where everything is truly okay and Salvation is just another site, not that site that started up to save 'News and got all VIVA LA REVOLUCION! on everybody.

You're right, Raa (Greg) isn't that bad. He was a horrible website owner, and the site started to die as soon as he bought it last February. He sucked at taking care of people working (volunteering) for him, and he was uncaring about the site's needs as well. Like you said, he was uninterested and busy - that is all true.
