(The following are not considered "mutable" or "immutable" rules in the game of Nomic; they may not be altered except by moderators as appropriate.)
1) No rule-change during the game may alter or supersede these rules.
2) Players must continue to obey all MTGS forum rules.
3) "The moderator" is the MTGS user who originated the thread containing the initial ruleset for the nomic.
4) The moderator reserves the right to nullify any rule-change which may cause technical difficulties with the software, be impossible to enact due to limitations of the forum software, or require players to gain elevated access to the forums. (In other words, any rule-change that might require users to have moderator access to this forum, etc.)
5) Users may not post in a Nomic thread unless they have been identified as a "player" or "eligible voter" by the rules of that particular game, or are a moderator for that game. Note that the method of identifying a "player" or "eligible voter" may change during the course of play, such that users who were previously unable to participate may become able to particpate, and users who were previously participating may become ineligible. Users who post in Nomic threads when ineligible will receive a verbal warning on first offense, then an "official" warning in the forum system. Persisting to post in games you are not eligible for may result in infractions.
6)The moderator may add, remove, or change rules here as needed to ensure the integrity of forum security. The moderator will use this power only when absolutely necessary, giving deference to rules created during the normal play of the game.
