I'm probably being stupid, but what card does GG stand for?
I'm not sure about Jund Hackblade, but Ram-gang seems like a good option.
Plated Geopede is good as well.
Wasn't Ram-Gang run > Thrinax for a really long time when new extended was introduced?
Also, why is there no talk of Grim Lavamancer yet?
That's because nobody plays this deck anymore. It became a bad metagame choice when everybody started running sword of feast and famine and mirran crusader, and the deck hasn't really gained anything. It's too slow to beat combo, inherently loses to sword of feast and famine and batterskull, and no one cares about the format anyway since PTQs are all standard at the moment and nationals will be occurring before any major extended tournaments. Before PT Philly everyone will start working on the format again, playtest several decks, and decide that stoneforge mystic and bitterblossom are good cards and that scapeshift does in fact randomly kill people on turn 4, so jund is kind of in an awkward position. It should still beat creature-based aggro (i.e. not mono-red), but that has been on the decline for a while now. I guess the real answer to your question is that it's not a matter of people discussing grim lavamancer in jund, it's a matter of people discussing jund.

I would hazard to say noone plays this format any more...
But yea, basically right now, Extended is where T2 was preban. Not a good place to play a GB deck
Hey, I did say that no one plays this format at the moment, but I still doubt that lavamancer will be enough to make jund a good deck. I can't even imagine what cards would have to be legal in order for jund to be a reasonable deck in extended...
I don't think Grim Lavamancer fits in Jund. Grim Lavamancer is great but the graveyard in Jund doesn't fill very fast. Grim Lavamancer fits best in the aggro decks and in random American Control decks.
Has Kessig Wolf Run been considered at all? Even as a 1 or 2 of it could help if a game goes long. Matches in Extended seem to very heavily in duration though.
IDK, the manabase needs help as it is... adding another colorless source won't help.
Unless you do Primeval Titan. Also, I'm still surprised that people haven't realized yet how much Woodland Cemetery helps the manabase out with a handful of basic land rampers.
But being new to extended and just joining MtG during when Scars was released, this is my first draft take on new extended Jund.
Primary win condition is to show up at an Extended tournament and win by default for being the only Extended Player to show. [/mandatory Extended is dead joke] But anyway, I've been working with Jund in Standard right now, so let me know what would work better.

I dunno. To be honest, I don't really think any of the innistrad lands are any good in any format outside the current standard simply because they're not man lands. Kessig wolf run isn't nearly as good as raging ravine, or even lava claw reaches simply because it requires you to have a creature to actually use it. I mean, chances are you'll have a creature out, but the man lands are just more consistent still, and jund's color base is already hard to play without colorless mana in the deck. Having even only one or two colorless could possibly be an issue.
But, you can still very easily win a game with it, if you get the chance. You could try it, but I'd stick to other lands.
