Ranger is not better than Tezz... Tezz gets u recovered from doj really fast with good late game plays ranger gets u 1/1s and 0/2s thats not a good recovery Tezz also let's u gain life which against red deck wins is a big swing...
the 5/5 that tezz makes is probably more relevant in the rdw match ups then his ultimate tbh.
i think a 3/1 or 2/2 split betweent eh two is good. i would run more ornithopters over memnite if tezz was in the list a 5/7 out of nowhere is sick. the problem with ranger is that if you dont have master or steel out its not that good but if you have 1 out its far superior to tezz. 3/1 i think is the right numbers
i think 3 tezz and 1 ranger is right as well. i think tezz is just better, yes with lets say a tempered steel in play ranger of eos can bring about 9 power to the board, but with the same steel out, tezz makes a 7/7 and then next turn can pump out another 7/7. ranger of eos does something once. or if u +1 tezz and pretty much scry 5 you have pretty good odds of finding a 0 drop or even a 1 drop u could play as well. and next turn u threaten to ultimate and pretty much win...also tezz acts as card draw which this deck lacks. he makes useless artifacts more relevant such as mox opal and springleaf drum in the later turns, or turn court homunculus into a 6/6, ornithopter into a 5/5 flier (which dark_myth44 you kinda got wrong there :P), or even make signal pest get there for damage while still retaining battlecry. also for cards i would rather cast early id rather have a turn 2 tezz than a turn 2 ranger.

I am petitioning for the removal of people who whine about mythic rarity. Sig this if you agree; they should just get over it. The mythic rarity serves to protect the price of rares that due to record printings are extremely lower than what they were during say, Ravnica block. Get a job.
Tezzeret is better than Ranger simply because he gives you options. You can refill your hand or turn a useless late game drum into a 5/5. He also lets you just sit back and plus 1 and force bad attacks.
Heres the list Ive been working with. It's very very awesome, extremely fast, too fast for almost any deck to keep up with.
why 3 master?!? he is the BEST card in the deck. he is far past the point of autoinclude. with that being said and out of the way, how is etched champion? i think hes more of a meta choice but he always felt a bit clunky for me as i would rather be playing a lord. also how is it without having thoughtseize in your 75?

That was actually a slight typo, I run 4/2. Etched is really good actually. Immune to all removal, able to block almost every relevant creature, is immune to removal, ect ect.
I might try 3 Tezz and another land instead though, since as good as Etched is, Tezz is waaaay better.
Tezz is everything that article says it is, although the deck it was designed for is Ravager Affinity, not Tempered Steel, but he's good here too
As for Thoughtseize... I never really liked that card in this deck, and don't miss it at all
Not been too impressed with this deck so far in testing. It feels great when you have a good hand, but there are too many poor ones, in which case it is often dead in the water.
Maybe the deck needs slowing down to make it more consistent? I liked the first esper aggro deck I made back when it was in standard more than this, with glaze fiends, foundries, etc.
Needs some equipment to go on the critters. x2 feast and famine, and 2x war and peace. Toss in a battleskull or two. Also needs maindeck counters and card draw.

Ie: Let's play a SFM deck? You most definitely do not need ms counterspells in an aggro deck, not in extended atleast. I also don't see the point of equipment, it will massively slow down the deck and hurt consistency.
Everyone knows that good luck and good game are such insincere terms that any man who does not connect his right hook with the offender's jaw on the very utterance of such a phrase is no man I would consider as such.
This deck has worked surprisingly well despite the fact that I only spent $10 on the manabase vs the $250 it would take me to makes it ideal. Any criticism is welcome.

This card is amazing. The only Q is how do we make room. Maybe SB over Zealous?

The shrine accumulates a counter each upkeep. So a t2 shrine will have 3 or 4 counters on it, if you happen to be too explosive, by turn 5.
Adn then you activate by tapping and paying three colorless mana.
