DFC has been established to discuss new potentially competitive deck ideas or to build upon decks that are either not currently competitive or otherwise haven't had any real positive metagame showing. If your deck is new or rogue, it is best to post it here before posting it elsewhere.
The purpose of this forum is to develop ideas/decks/deck ideas to make decks potentially competitive. If a deck in the DFC forum becomes competitive (it begins T8ing often at high level events/places in the Top 4 in the few events it's been seen at) and you feel the deck deserves to be moved over to Competitive, PM one of your awesome moderators and we'll do our little research thing and then move it appropriately.
In case you haven't been in the competitive forum yet, this is what was said there in regards to the creation of the DFC forum:

We have created a dfc forum in response to it's recent success in our t2 forums, so I have spent time picking out threads that are obviously not competitive and moved then to dfc's.
Many thanks
Bel.
Addendum: Please use deck tags when posting your decks in this forum. The opening and closing tags for this are [*deck] and [*/deck], omitting the * both times. That will turn this...
Update: If you'd like your deck to be moved to Competitive, the best and only way to produce results that allow such a change during a non-Extended PTQ/GP season is through Premier Events (PEs) play on Magic Online (MODO). MODO PEs occur several times a week, and are comparably competitive with higher REL events such as PTQs and Regionals. Please be aware that the deck is *essentially* still rogue and, therefore, not "tier" competitive unless it has some consistant showing in either real world or online Premier Events.
As a result, please do not begin boasting or bantering about a deck's competitive status in threads without actual support to back it up, as this often leads to trolling, flaming, and other disallowed or inappropriate conduct.
Thank you,

4 Llanowar Elves
4 Smother
4 Hypnotic Specter
into this:
4 Smother

The main benefit of this is the autocard feature, so watch your spelling. Decks posted without deck tags may get you an infraction.
UPDATE: You are allowed to discuss spoiled cards from a new set before the full spoiler is available.

I used to write for MTGS, including Cranial Insertion and cube articles. Good on you if you can find those after the upgrade.
