This is an old deck of mine that I played back when it was Standard. I found it recently and figured, what the heck, I'll make it Extended and start playing it again, but some time has passed since I last played the deck and I would like to know what, if anything, I could do to improve the deck. Things to change, take out, put in, sideboard, etc.
The general idea with the deck is to use the most evasive level up creatures at my disposal (Flying, Unblockable, etc), leveling them up little by little, until I can play a Venerated Teacher, which will boost them all at once. Time of Heroes gives most of my creatures a size boost. Training Grounds makes it easier to level up my creatures when I don't have a Teacher. Ghostly Flicker provides some more evasion, but most importantly lets me blink my Teachers so their effect gets repeated. Inexorable Tide lets me proliferate after playing anything (except lands of course). 21 lands I think is enough, its been enough so far anyway.
Does anyone have suggestions or comments? I have four copies of most of the level up creatures, so if anyone thinks it best for me to add a color or swap out a color for a different color or whatever, I can do that. I'm just looking for any tips on making a good Extended Level Up deck.
