2. Anyone else think it was kind of lame that Sylar left Claire's "dad" alive so that he could play cavalry later on? Granted, it gave another excuse to have the Haitian come in (the Haitian is awesome), but still...
Not as lame as the fact that they never used the Haitian to wipe Sylar's memory of Claire, the list, and all the powers he has.
Which raises a second point. Why do so many people assume that the explosion in New York is the crisis that must be prevented? New York is not the world; America is not the world. Isaac is painting the explosion now, but apart from that painting he only seems to draw the imminent future. There has to be something bigger here, something coming years down the line.
I'm pretty sure that the reasoning behind this current "Bomb" affecting the world is that a Nuclear attack would trigger what they believe to be a Nuclear Winter. At least that's what was given in the show.
Straight off heroeswiki.com:
There will be a sneak peek of a new character tonight, like the one before the first epsidoe after hiatus during 'Deal or No Deal', which is in the slot before Heroes, on NBC.

That wouldn't happen from one bomb. It would happen if that one bomb was suspected to come from North Korea or Iran Eastasia or Eurasia, thus launching a nuclear war that would then end in nuclear winter.
Mohinder and Sylar, who ally up in this episode, I guess, go to meet a female auto-mechanic who has super-hearing. She mentions she has controlled her power, and can sense changes even in people's heartbeat. Then she turns at looks at sylar, and says his pulse just went up, like he was nervous. Then it cuts off.
Allow me to correct you there. Peter can borrow the powers of any "talent" he meets so long as they're present, but forming an emotional bond with them makes the loan permanent. (Arguably, this is because if he keeps them in his heart they're always with him.)
Then he didn't have an emotional bond with his brother? He couldn't fly without him being around, from what we've seen.
Wow, very upset everybody. This is my one day a week where I have to work overnight shift. I worked Monday morning from 3 am to 5 pm. Usually, I keep myself awake to watch Heores and also to get my sleeping schedule back to normal. Unfortunately I fell asleep around 7-8 and didn't wake up till now. If anybody wants to be nice and spoil me a recap of what happened, then I would appreciate it.

Very valid point.
icpTJ: Hello? Spoiler warning maybe?
Wait, who is HRM/HRG/HMO? Is that Paper Man?
I'm praying for a montage to 60s music in which Mohinder and Sylar have vacation adventures together.
Sylar is a REALLY cool character, probably the strongest point about the show right now. It's interesting that he feels this religious-like mission to become the ultimate hero. I would love it if Sylar somehow became this really twisted good guy.
Mohinder... I miss when he was in the limelight. Thankfully more about him will be shown in future episodes.
Someone's going to die next episode. Wonder who it is?
I would assume the identity of Claire's dad would be a spoiler.
Although, given the fact that these episodes are placed up on the website and Youtube very quickly, I wonder if spoiler warnings have any real function.

Nope. Things from episodes are only spoilers for a limited time - three days. We're long past the necessary tag period for last week's episode.

People outside America can't watch the episodes on NBC.com. And I haven't seen anything more than studio-sanctioned exclusives on YouTube since NBC started its crackdown. Your point stands that there's usually a way of getting the episode illegally by Tuesday morning, but the spoiler tags still serve a purpose. Even if that purpose is merely consistency in the forum.

Last night's isn't up quite yet, but soon you'll be able to buy the episode through iTunes. I don't know if there's a similar restriction preventing non-US residents from purchasing it, but it's worth a shot.

HRG has no powers that we know of.
He could though.

HRG=Horned(or horn) Rim Glasses, unofficial name of the paper mill guy, since we don't know his name.
Um, what spoiler?

We don't know his first name, but his official name is Mr. Bennet. Personally, I don't like HRG as a nickname.
