I got the Sonic collection today. It's awesome. The "SEGA" at the beginning is instant nostalgia. I also have to say I prefer Sonic games to Mario games.
Thanks for all the feedback! I appreciate it! How about Advance Wars? Worth it?
Advance Wars: Dual Strike is really worth it. If you've played either of the first two, it expands on those and adds a lot of creativity and fun elements. I think it's the best hand-held series (besides Pokemon), and Dual Strike is the cream of the crop; absolutely top notch! Many hours can be spent on it trying to collect all the medals. I have not, however played the 4th installment, Days of Ruin (I hear it's good too, but definitely snag Dual Strike first).

Yes, especially if you know anyone that has it. Even if you don't, though, the replay value is outstanding. Excellent bang for your buck, one of the best games on the console (as shown by 90 on Metacritic, the highest DS game is a 92 I believe).
I never played Dual Strike, but I really liked Days of Ruin. I only played the original Advance Wars, and from the reviews I read people didn't like the dark, edgier storyline in this game compared to the others. I know I really enjoyed it, but I haven't picked it up since I beat it a couple years ago.

I'm bad at magic, you're bad at magic, and Level 4 Pro Ari Lax is terrible at magic.
Phoenix Wright, and Professor Leyton have not been mentioned yet? For shame. THE PUZZLES!!!!
Carp! how could I forget about Professor Layton *hangs head in shame*. But seriously the Professor Layton series is awesome and Layton himself puts Indiana Jones to shame.
Played about two hours of Radiant Historia last night. Interesting how you use the White Chronicle to make different futures. Combat against regular enemies seems easy at the moment (I just use auto attack now because it doesn't seem the benefits of chaining matter at level 7 lol). The only thing that might piss me off in the future is equipping a character with a weapon/armor and then realizing you're at a dead end path and have to go back in time to a different path when you don't have that character. Good to see I just wasted that 2000g on a Heavy Lance for Rosch...
Unique take so far though; I'm liking it.

I haven't played Professor Leyton, but Phoenix Wright(I only played the first one...:() had a really awesome story and characters. The only reason for why it's not on my list, is because once you beat the game, that's kinda it. There's really no replay value in it...(Once again, I only played the first one, so the others may have more replay value in them.)
Not saying it's a bad game of course. It's just that I have no reason to play it again, unless I wait several years after I forgot just about everything about the game. That way, I can force myself to rethink on how to solve the cases and be surprise of the conclusions in game.
As for Radiant Historia...Somethings telling me I should look into it. From what I'm reading, everyone else seems to like it a lot.
Honestly, and I've been playing mine for years now, the best part about the DS is re-releases.
Final Fantasy 1-6, Mario 64, ChronoTrigger.
I still can't believe how superior Mario 64 is to everything they've ever done in that franchise.
What control scheme do you use for Mario 64 DS?
Because I'm playing the game right now, have been for a few days, and... Wow. I really wanted to like the game, because it's Mario 64 with additional content added, but the awkwardness of the d-pad for 3D movement kills it, and I can't figure out how the stylus as a control stick is supposed to be comfortable.
999 is the best "graphic novel" style game, Radiant Historia is by far the best RPG, better than Chrono Trigger. Really.
I'd also like to add Monster Tale for being the best Metroidvania game I've ever played. It's not frustratingly hard, it has an orginal twist with the trainable monster, and it's just crazy fun without being too kirby-ish. Right now I'm pretty much addicted to Okamiden, which imo is actually better than the Zelda games. Phantom Hourglass is still one of my favs, Spirit Tracks however kind of dissappointed me. Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword is also one of my favorites, one of the best uses of the stylus ever.
Great, im not the only one that thinks that Okami and okamiden is actually better than zelda :D...
it feels like zelda with many extra twists! Very good and Fun game, i approve both of them!
Zelda is still a great game, dont start bashing! it's one of my favorites, but okami is unique :L also in Twillight princess it feels like they copied okami...heh
Noone Mentioned Scribblenauts so far though? that game is/was really fun D:
all the others i love are mentioned (ff tactics/castlevania/zelda etc) also the world ends with you is very interesting

Disregard the stylus. Aquire stars.
Honestly,...the touch feature is buggy and not worth it. Play it traditionally, with the controls. It's like nothing changed. I'm at the end of the game, refuse to use a walkthrough and can't find that last damn rabbit!

Yeah, but the controls are SO. BAD. I don't even know how I'm going to fight Bowser on the last level.
That 999 game looks BADASS. I'm so down for tracking that game down.
no mention of the dragon quest games? 4 - 6, and 9? foooor shame.
though 5 might be a bit hard to find but its worth it. it has monster collecting, like pokemon, but it is a remake from a snes game so yea. 6 came out in feb so might not be as hard to find. 4 was massively produced, so easyish to pick up. same with 9. all great games.

I don't think you can compare TWEWY to Radiant Historia (or any other full RPG) because TWEWY isn't really an RPG.
I agree with the fact that I didn't like the controls. Don't get me wrong, the game was awesome, but I mainly focused on Neku on the bottom and just spammed direction buttons for the partner on top. The game has an insane soundtrack and the storyline is unique (ok, Devil Survivor has a similar storyline, but is a completely different game and still kick ass). Definitely one of the best DS games.
I finished Radiant Historia, getting 100% completion, and yeah it was awesome. One of the best RPGs out for the DS, but there is a lot of competition in that slot, so I don't think it's my absolute favorite, but still pretty amazing.

A truly great petition
Amazon is having a buy-one-get-one-half-off sale on some DS/3DS games, including...RADIANT HISTORIA! Mario 64! Pokemon! Awesome.
Better RPG: Radiant Historia vs. The World Ends With You.
Not sure what game to start next, both are apparently where it's at.

The combat is fun, the storyline is interesting, the White Chronicle mechanic reminds me of Chrono Trigger and is fantastic and immersive.
Hats off Atlus, and thank you people who recommended it.
