"It is just that we should be grateful, not only to those with whose views we may agree, but also to those who have expressed more superficial views; for these also contributed something, by developing before us the powers of thought." ~Aristotle
Yep, we can do that. We just need to somehow get organized and agree to meet there, at some time/in a specifice district/near some landmark, and we can start kicking butt!
What times are you usually on? So we can meet up...

Thanks to Legacy15 and Butteblues18 for the Sig and Avatar!
I have materials up the yang, so if anyone wants to track me down in post-searing world, I like money and dyes. I can't join the MTGS guild as I already started the Nightmare Raiders guild, open only to Elemantalists, Necromancers, Mesmers and Monks of a darker persuasion, secondary class doesn't matter. Also, you do not need cloth to make a cape for your guild, you do however need 2,000 gold!!! Then there's the 1,600+ you'll have to shell out for your guild hall :/... Well, my name and all is in my sig, and I'm wasting too much valuable GW time by posting this, so, bye!

I just got Guild wars and defintally willing to play with anyone. MSG me to talk with me, maybe we can start a guild or you can join the one im in now.
Me and a group of friends currently have a guild up and running (Delta Green [DG]), and were currently in the process of winning a sigil to get the guild hall from the Hall of Heroes. Unfortunately, only me and a few other members have any experience with the game's PvP, while most people are focused on the roleplaying part. If anyone here has any experience or familiarity at all with guild wars PvP, please either PM me here or whisper me in-game (my two roleplaying characters are The Human Torch (lv20el/me) and Gon Waterseed (lv10mo/wa)). Even if you dont PvP, ask about joining our guild anyways. We have regular PvP training sessions in which we bring a group of guild members into the tomb of primeval kings just to show them the ropes. We're a developing guild and always accept new recruits, so dont be afraid to talk to me about it! (im one of the guilds 3 officers-speciffically in charge of recruiting as you can probably tell )
It's really addictive, like Diablo 2. However, unlike Diablo 2, it's also actually fun.
I'm in the process of buying my own clan [Level 7 and under chars - I got the game 5~6 days ago]. Maybe eventually I'll become level 20, and then I can destroy you all.
Buy first I need a RAM upgrade - the game lags really bad on my computer right now. I can't play PvP ...

I'm playi,g GW as well (european server). I'm near lvl 20 (98 %) and still in the jungle. I already "own" a guild : "La Toile des Reves" [TdR] which means "The Dream Web". My main character is a Mesmer/Elementalist called "la Rose Pourpre" (the purple rose). I spend my time exploring and helping my "guild-mates". If anyone needs help, if I'm online and not occupied, I can help him. Just tell you're from MTGS, I'll arrive in a short moment (at least in places I've dicovered).
yeahh, 100th post !!!
Your clan name is actually "The Web of Dreams", you made it plural ;). Not that it makes much difference.
I'm currently at Frostgate with two characters, a 13 E/Me and a 13 W/R.
BTW, here's something fun for all of you to try. In the North Wall mission, when you're supposed to run, stand your ground :D. I managed to last for atleast half a minute.
Try walking from Frost Gate to Lion's Arch, now that took a long time! I tried to stand my ground in the wall mission, but i sucked. Im going to try it with my brother (14 R/Mo) and see how we do.

i just got the game last friday and i loveit, its so much fun and brings alot of new things to the MMORPG world, anyway i am a lvl 13 N/W my name is Matashi Oyobi, and i would love to join a guild, because theone imin now sucks
Wow. Am I the only one who doesn't like this game? My friends and I bought the game and we pretty much agree it was $50 down the drain.
It is sort of similiar to D2, except much worse, imo. The sprites are ugly, the quests are way too easy (walk from point A to point B 8 million times.)'
I used a Ranger/Warrior (power ranger..^^) named Tira Misu but I just could not get into it, even when playing with my friends.
Plenty_Purple, I'm sorry you feel that way. Yes, the quests in the beginning are easy and repetitive, but that's so people can get a feel for how the game works before being thrown into the extremely difficult missions after you hit level 20. I have no idea what you mean by "the sprites are ugly" though...the game has some of the prettiest graphics I've ever seen, and it even works on low-end computers with 56k internet connections, which is great because it lets all of my friends play even without powerful computers or fast connections.

By sprites I meant the characters themselves. The only female sprite that is even slightly cute is the ranger, which I ended up having to choose because I couldn't stand being an ugly monk for longer than 5 minutes.
The scenery is pretty, but once you get to the searing it's just so ugly and drab. I guess maybe it just isn't my style of game.

Since you feel that way, you could go ahead and send your copy to me...
I'm in Georgia now Alyssa, so it should only take a couple of days...
I've been thinking about buying this game though, since I can't afford the evil monthliness of WoW (Car insurance = t3h devil)...
I have played WoW before though, so, if possible, I'd like to get some opinions on how this game matches up to WoW so I can see if it's worth the $50.
GW and WoW play completely differently, for more reasons than I'd care to mention here. I've played both extensively, enjoyed both, but eventually settled on GW because of the no monthly fee + the game is based on skill, not hundreds of hours grinding to get "1337" so you can go "pwn sum n00bz" in the PvP.
BB: I'd gladly send you my copy...had I actually bought one. I ordered one offline since it was quicker, which means I just downloaded the game and then bought an account from them. If you can figure out someway to download the game, I'd be more than happy to give you my account//key stuff.
And personally, I prefer games that take time to be good at. I don't like the idea of everyone being the same level to compete. I want to pwn n00bzorz.
