The Dicks.....now that's money in the bank....suck it, Edge.
Dicks...Junior Division...Christian is gone....I'm so glad I abandon Smackdown months ago
What's frightening is that it is barely worse than RAW right now except for Edge and Angle.
Friday Night Smackdown will have Batista-Randy Orton-Eddie Guerrero for the World Title in a Triple Threat. I'm actually going out of my way to avoid the spoilers this week so please no one post it here if you see it. I want to find out on Friday whether or not Batista will just rehab and work thru the pain or take the surgery and be out until January (just in time for the Royal Rumble...hmm)
Anyway: My prediction....based on what we did see on SD after a pretty good match between Orton and Misterio, Orton will win the title and successfully defend the title at Survior Series against Matt Hardy. With Orton threatening to go after Hardy after his match with Misterio it seems to be the natural segue. Orton-Hardy for the World Title for Smackdown, Cena-Angle for the WWE Title for RAW, the sure-fire can't-miss five-star classic between Teddy Long and Eric Bischoff, and finally The Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match-- RAW's Team: Big Show, Kane, Edge, HBK, and Carlito versus Smackdown's Team assuming Batista is out: JBL, Misterio, Bobby Lashley, Eddie Guerrero, and Batista's replacement...

Ugh. I just went to WWE.com. The fifth member of the RAW team will not be Edge as I thought....its Chris Masters.
So it's Show, Kane, HBK, Masters, and Carlito for RAW......Shelton Benjamin anyone??? (I don't care if he 'lost' to Carlito, he deserves this spot more than Masters and Carlito, and maybe even Show and Kane)
against....Smackdown's Team of Batista Mr. Kennedy, Misterio, Guerrero, JBL, and Lashley

I would have put my next month's paycheque on the 5th man on the Raw team being Masters, after he showed up at Smackdown to attack Teddy Long. Also, it won't be Edge, as he's injured at the moment.
Shelton Benjamin is in the midst of being completely buried for no apparent reason. I think he must have hit on Steph or something, because it's completely inexplicable. He's currently tied with Paul London in the "Most misused WWE employee" stakes, and just ahead of Tajiri.
Huh, didn't realize Edge was hurt...*sad now*....what is wrong wth him?
BTW, Rob Van Dam has something to say about that "Most Misused WWE Employee" award. He's had that locked up since the WCW Invasion angle crapped out.

Even WWE wouldn't go THAT far......and if I am wrong and this is some kind of sick Katie Vick-JR's plastic ass-Mark Henry's tranny work, then I am done with them. Forever. I don't care if they get things right and start pushing the right people and using wrestling, I'll never watch again. And I can't imagine I'd be the only one.

Wrestling fans everywhere are stunned I'm sure as is the rest of the business. I'm not getting it, but I'm sure that Mike Tenay will say something about Eddie Guerrero's death on tonight's TNA PPV Genesis. Eddie was influencial as far as ring presence, believability, charisma, and flat out wrestling skill. There aren't many right now as good as Eddie was be it on RAW, Smackdown, TNA, ROH, or anywhere.
I fully expect that this week will be a week long tribute on RAW and SD for Eddie. Lots of Eddie stories like there was when Owen died. I wish we had more details of what happened. I also hope they find a way for Smackdown to be live this week, it would only seem right to a tribute show live for such a great wrestler.
One other thing I will point out, tomorrow night on RAW, I want to hear from Chavo Guerrero, not Kerwin White. If there is a time to get rid of this gimmick, now is the time.
Looking Forward
Eddie was supposed a part of a Triple THreat match for Smackdown for the World Heavyweight Title against Batista and Randy Orton. I think that they will just leave it as Orton-Batista especially Batista is already injured. The question being, will they hotshot the belt to Orton so Batista can get surgery or will Batista keep the belt and work through the pain.
Eddie was also supposed to be a part of the 5-man Survivor Series team going against RAW. I anticipate that Ken Kennedy will replace him (being unsure what Batista is going to do, I won't specualte on who replaces him)
R.I.P. Eddie Guerrero October 9, 1967 to November 13, 2005
Your life was far too short. Ironic that his DVD was called 'Cheating Death, Stealing Life' I didn't buy it when it first came out, but I think I will now.

Well, the information apparently is that he just collapsed and died of heart failure. They found him with a toothbrush in his mouth. It looked like it was just an ordinary morning and then dropped dead. I just don't know what could have caused it. It's just so weird how someone could be perfectly healthy, and then just die.
Definitely agree with Kerwin White. That was one of the things I thought of when I heard the news.
Since it happened in Minneapolis the local news stations are all over it so I'll watch the news and post any new info they might have. They're having a pretty hyped RAW/Smackdown supershow tonight that I didn't get tickets for, but I'm sure it'll be interesting seeing how they do it the same day maybe the top superstar in their business died. I'll see if the news mentions anything about it.
EDIT: We should all do memorial avatars of Eddie for like a week or two.
I'm absolutely speechless. He was still at the top of the game - great in the ring (both offensively and selling for others), one of the best on the mic, and could work an entire crowd with just a simple facial expression.
how can someone so fit, so healthy like him...just die...it just feels so unreal, I just don't want to believe it but sadly this isn't some "torrie wilsons father" B.S..very sad day in wrestling(just as sad as that one taping of SD during 9/11)...
Eddie was my nephew's favorite wrestler. My nephew is 5. Everyday, he would come up to me and ask if Eddie was on tonight. I have no idea what to tell him next time. This is just so sad. I'm just thankful that he was born again. Chalk up another name to the list of people I wanna talk to when I get to heaven. Actually, a list wouldn't be a bad idea. I'll work on it tomorrow. If any of you are the praying types, I'm sure that Eddie's family could use them right now. God bless.
well i met Eddie guerrero in Puerto rico because he figth in IWA and he was a great guy un verdedero hermano latino and it was a big loss well eddi descansa en paz rest in peace
Even though Eddie was clean and sober for over 4 years, his history of substance abuse finally caught up with him. His death was brought on by a heart failure which was almost definetely caused by the amount of drugs and alcohol he put into his body.
I second Cynical's idea to have Eddie avatars for a week or so. Someone get one shopped up, and we can all use it.

Not to tarnish it or anything, but the exact same thing happened to Road Warrior Hawk, and he was about Eddie's age too....
The human body just isnt meant (necessarily) to constantly do what these guys do to themselves for us. I'm surprised Undertaker's still going (reasonably) strong since he's both TALL and like Flair's age...
(touch wood)
It was Guerrero who gave Big Show the laxatived takeout food right?

i just keep thinking about the moment when eddie and benoit were hugging in the center of the ring at WM... everything was perfect for those two guys right then and there...
I think we can safley say 2005 was not a good year for the wwe(Austin walking out again, JR no longer comentator, Christian leaving and Eddies...... :()..sad and also very frustraiting year for the wwe :/

This morning in Minneapoils, Eddie Guerrero has passed on. Details are unknown at this time. WWE.com will put up more information as it comes out.

I want to believe his death didn't have to do with alcohol or drugs, but I can't be too sure...:slant:
I am seriously shocked beyond belief....RIP Eddie.
