Q: What if I have a Galvanic Arc attached to a token? Will it come back and shoot someone?
A: Your Arc will phase back in, and go falling down into the graveyard as state-based effects are checked since the creature it was sitting on has gone poof. Do remember that come-into-play abilities do not trigger when things phase in, so you won't get to deal 3 damage.
This actually is incorrect

217.8d Tokens in the phased-out zone cease to exist. This is a state-based effect (see rule 420, "State-Based Effects"). Any phased-out Auras or Equipment that were attached to those tokens remain phased out for the rest of the game.
To be honest, I'd have thought the same thing, had I not read it before looking for questions to stump my friends.

A: Ertai's Meddling is a card. Suspend is a mechanic. That was easy!
To be more specific, the Meddling ends up putting a copy of the spell on the stack, and suspend has you play the spell. This can cause wacky situations with face-down spells and preserves the X in variable spells.
Here are some more odd facts about Ertai's Meddling that deserve mention :
- Rather than removing the target spell from the game right away, it sets a replacement effect that happens instead of the resolution of the target spell.
- While it is true that it puts a copy of the spell it originally targeted into the stack when the last counter wears off, that copy is not an invisible object as copies usually are : it has the spell card as a support. Judges will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Meddling is the only card in Magic that puts a copy of a no longer existing spell into the stack with its original card as a physical support.
That weird wording was necessary to maintain the intended functionnality of Ertai's Meddling, wich was to return the spell card to the point it was about to resolve, with all its targets, modes, etc. unchanged.
Most people think of Ertai's Meddling as the old card that looks the most like suspend, but we can see its effects differ in many ways (to point out an other difference, there's also the haste of suspended creatures). However, there is an even older card wich original printed wording was so close to suspend that it probably should receive the suspend errata, just like Cyclone received cumulative upkeep errata : All Hallow's Eve. It is a sorcery spell with suspend in all regards except that it's not mentionned that the card is RFG.
I'm a former judge (lapsed), who keeps up to date on rules and policy. Keep in mind that judges' answers aren't necessarily more valid than those of people who aren't judges; what matters is we can quote the rules to back up our answers. When in doubt, ask for such quotes.
"Q: Can we run a Dark-Fallen Empires-Homelands drafts just for kicks, or is that bad because those packs only have 8 cards apiece?
A: That's fine, but you'll only have 24 cards for your deck. Better make sure you stay very strictly on color."
Why not just draft 2 packs of each? That way you get 48 cards. You'll need the 3 extra cards beacause there won't be too many playables in pack 3. Not too many in pack one either......

That's fine, too. The player who wrote in wanted, for some silly reason, to use just one pack of each, but using two of each would make it better.
When you're drafting those sets, playability is *extremely* relative...

It's early enough that we can correct the article without confusing too many people. >_>
