So are we making any changes to loran's list? I do believe we all agreed to add the Lens in, but besides that we have a consensus?
Christmas was good, a lot better than last year's. I got a pair of nice headphones, a new watch, a new wallet, and two new shirts. I also have some money to spend.
We really should perhaps look into getting some new members. Discussion is a little dead here lately. At the same time I would like to check the quality of discussion up too. At any rate we only really have about ten active members right now. Does anyone have any ideas for people to invite?
Rhino is the only one I would support retiring. He doesn't visit the site anymore so there is little point in leaving him. The rest of those inactive at least pop in and that is fine with me.

I've been testing thallid germinater and it's the most underrated card in limited right now, it's not great, but if it stays out for three turns it's better then any other common three drop. Cutting wormwood dryad for them and siding the dryad in for relevant matches is the play here.

Christmas was okay. Didn't feel like Christmas for some reason, and we didn't really do anything special. But I got a new mouse for my computer, an mp3 player, and The Italian Job (the original 1969 British version. The good one :teach:) so it wasn't bad.
I'll leave the Clan Contest to those who know what they're doing.
I'm ambivalent on more members. I won't push for anyone, but I won't oppose new members.
If members have left the site, then yeah, they should probably be moved. But if they come back, we should still welcome them.
Awexome. It's like awesome, but more x-treme.
I think we decided that the clan doesn't need a leader, per se. Besides, this is a clan where friends post as often, if not more often, than members. This is pretty much a clan of equality. ZOMG TEH COMMUNISM perhaps, but it works. For us, anyways.
is indeed awesome. Not quite as awesome as but awesome nonetheless.
Eh.
re: Magic Mage: Sure, why not?
re: snow: We have it. We're not supposed to; this area is technically a wet desert.
On a random note, the Pen and Paper Inn is awesome. And it came about just as I was deciding to get into D&D.
I'd still go with 1 worm 1 thallid. I don't like either very much, but the thallid is meh and the wormwood we can power either color for.

I haven't been active for two reasons...really been too tired to do much. Christmas/New Year's at a grocery store is murder. I'm still here, just...tired.
Unfortunately, I have to work tomorrow
My Christmas was what it was. At least my 'housemates' (I refuse to call them family anymore) let me sleep until 9am, which was about two hours more than I thought would happen.

Nah, I find that they never really pan out. Maybe it's because I'm lazy, maybe not. Meh.
Funny story from work: I work at an A&W, in the kitchen. Yesterday I was called in to work because the person who normally works Friday mornings called in sick (just like last week ). Things went fairly well; I got there shortly after 9, and things were quiet; I went on my break at 1:30, had a free lunch, and had a look at the paper. Then, at 2 when I finished my break, people started coming in. The woman who opened had to stay a little bit longer than usual, and we were completely swamped. It ended shortly after 3. As I went to finish some prep, I commented to the manager that for some reason I heard Frank Sinatra singing The Best is Yet to Come in my head (and why not? It's a good song) "Let's hope that's not an omen," he laughed. I left at 4, commenting about our rush and my "premonition" to the guy on the closing shift. Today, I go in in the morning, and it's fairly steady. Just before 4, the guy on the closing shift (same as last night) catches me doing some onions and says, "Ian, don't predict things ever again." Apparently last night was very busy; people were literally coming in with lists and ordering. I laughed, and when I left at 4, I told him I wasn't making any more predictions.
To sum up: I am ******* psychic!

Uh, hi. Yeah, I was wondering if I could join this clan because I'm thinking of leaving House Dimir come the end of the clan awards due to its lack of activity and members. I'll do whatever I have to do in order to join, which I hope isn't much.
Oh, and loran is part of this clan. Hey, how'd you like the game tonight?

At least i get to see the Jets clinch tomorrow first hand......
EDIT: And Ive got no problem with wombat being a member......even if he does like the devils and yankees, sigh.

Yeah, I heard that that was a fluke goal. I didn't see it because I was on the road to New York during the first period. I did see a little of the second period and all of the third.
Oh, and by the way, the game was on Fox Sports Net NY as an "Islanders game night," not a Devils game night, so I guess your statement about the Devils getting precedence isn't always true.

Well, we do have this ritual of initiation.
Yeah, but, uh, I would be fine with it.
Jets remind me of the Giants. Who are going to go to the playoffs at 8-8. This is tragic. The bright side is I am now more likely to see Eli Manning get hit, which is always a good time.
