Hello, I've undergone the task of making a peasant cube for my playgroup, but I've hit somewhat of a snag. Golgari as a color combination feels really weak to me, and the selection of gold/hybrid in those colors equally so.
What do you guys run in the B/G slots to make it a viable color pairing?
i run consume strength, dreg mangler, korozda guildmage, necrogenesis, putrefy, and putrid leech. i think the guildmage is the first on the chopping block, followed by necrogenesis probably, but otherwise i'm happy with the cards i'm running. i do agree that dreg mangler is the best golgari card.
also how often does the life half of life // death ever get used?
I run mangler, leech, putrify, Ebony Treefolk, and Treasured Find as my golgari spells. Canker abomination is in my hybrid section. I think Necrogenesis is terrible and korozda guildmage never did much. Life/death might be interesting, but we never really cast life over here.

I already have the obvious choices in Putrid Leech and Putrefy
