This is a work in progress, but I think with some tweaking it can be more efficient. The idea is to stack Kruin Striker and Griffin Protector and swing in for the kill. It's a slow deck, I admit, but it may yet prove to be viable in pauper. At the moment, I'd call this casual pauper.
Tell me what you think. ATM, I'm staving away from Foundry Street Denizen and instead paying for the big flying body of another nonhuman. I need draw, but that isn't exactly a thing for r/w..
I'm also on the fence about Fortify and Dynacharge. Then what of the soul sisters too? Too many choices..
At first I thought this might actually be a real Boros deck, but you only have one split card. To speed it up why not add Boros Recruit? 1 drop with first strike can set the pace early enough to buy you some time.
Your basic strategy seems exactly the same as an Armored Ascension strategy with the exception of it being Plains rather than creatures. It works well but you're right it is slow. You can speed it up by running some Lotus Petals though.
Yeah, after posting this, I looked at gruul and green humans and figured they're a tastier choice. I mean, Kruin Striker, Thatcher Revolt, and Riot Ringleader are the ones I really care about when it all comes down to it. The more I think about doing it, the more I think I may need to go Naya colors for this deck to be as threatening as possible.
