I have been kicking around ideas for how to combine the better red cards since Thermo-Alchemist got spoiled, I'm still not sure how good it is but I wanted some suggestions. I also am in favor of a mono-red build because red has the best side board IMO. Gorilla Shaman, pyroblast, Flaring Pain, etc.
The deck is divided into four parts. Creatures that accomplish things by having a self-refilling hand/casting as many cantrips as possible, cantrips and buyback effects which keep the hand full of spells, removal, and land.
The creatures: Akroan Crusader fills up the field with 1/1 haste creature tokens, making it a poor man's Young Pyromancer. Good for chump blocking and beating on an empty field. Satyr Hoplite is probably the worst of the four creatures, but is a fast clock and acts as another target for the decks cantrips. Thermo-Alchemist is the reason this deck exists. It can deal three-four damage a turn, several of the cards can give it haste so it doesn't come down and sit, and it combos like crazy with Veteran's Voice. Martyr of Ash is the best sweeper in pauper, but sees no play because mono-red means burn and they don't need board wipes. Hard counters anything using lots of creatures, and can even hit for five to get anglers (another reason this deck plays so many cantrips).
Cantrips: We have two good cantrips, then Seething Anger for the end game. Veteran's Voice is a 1 of because it combos with Thermo-Alchemist to give a creature +2/+1 for every spell you play a turn, but three card combos aren't a reliable way to play.
Removal: Searing Blaze is the only maybe here, because it is not a cantrip and the deck only runs 19 lands. Bolt and Slash are half the reason people play red.
Lands: 19 lands is essentially because the deck needs to hit two, but doesn't want four.
So the big questions are: Is there anything to replace Seething Anger? Searing Blaze? Is the land count correct? Any obvious inclusions that I am missing?

Looks like a fun list! Thermo-Alchemist got my attention when I saw it spoiled and I've been testing him in an Izzet control deck I brewed up.
Reckless Charge might be better than Seething Anger. Sure, you can't Buyback Charge, but you still get multiple castings from one card and it's easier with your mana base being low. If you make that switch then I think the land count is good.
Other options could be Flame Jab or Lava Dart if you end up top decking land later in the game and would like to put it to better use than just playing a land.
Staggershock could be a better choice than Searing Blaze.
Is Martyr of Ashes a good main deck choice? It seems like it would hurt your board state and it probably belongs in the sideboard, but I feel there are probably some better options.
You'll definitely want to bring some Apostle's Blessings in your sideboard or control decks will stop you fast!

Yeah, agreed on most of these. I like Martyr of Ashes because it is the closest thing the game has to pyroclasm, and actually hits harder for cheaper. Most aggro decks can't survive having their field wiped turn 2, but sadly red doesn't have very good control spells or big creatures to let it play midrange and take advantage of it.
