Seeing the old frames is really cool. But as I was playing Magic when Time Spiral block was the new hotness I am not too sure if I want to get a box.... I may even pass on most of the singles.
Is this really going to be a full reprint set? Like a Masters set?
Starting to feel the humdrum I felt in my youth when a Core set was released over the summer. Even w/ the new Core sets there are "new" cards.
Call this just a bunch of complaining but nothing so far seams all that exciting. The only thing worth it (to me) will be picking up singles of cards while the fresh of the press prices are low(er).
How's everyone else feeling about this set? Feel free to gripe, praise, judge and whatnot here. But as usual, please keep the arguing to a minimum & please be respectful of others opinions. Remember, opinions are like anus's: everyone has one and usually it stinks.
Would enjoy the set much more if they made it a mix of the 3 sets of Time Spiral.
So we would get new FutureShifted cards from upcoming sets.
If the set would ALL be old-bordered cards it would be much more welcome, as the big seller for this set is just that, some old-borders for a bunch of cards.
All the actual reprints, very little care for, if at all, as you can buy a complete set of commons/uncommons of Time Spiral for much cheaper than buying a box.
The fact they made this even more expensive than a regular box is even worse ... as there is literally no reason to do that, except milking people.

The set could embrace its old-nostalgia feeling a lot more, instead its just a cash-grab, like basically all the products WotC pushes out lately.
It's an all-reprint set, according to Gavin Verhey (source: Twitter).
Given that, they should have better timeshifted cards. Doesn't seem like a whole lot value in the shifted cards, not really any chase as in previous sets. The timeshifted stuff doesn't even seem that good IMO.
I am just praying for something redeeming among the artifacts, lands & multicolored, This time I think it is really bizarre how the previews are color-orgsnized.
Maybe there's a surprise in wait for us... Only time will tell, as long as it doesn't spiral out of control, lol...

I think it would be cool to have the enemyfetches in old Onslaught style boarder as time shifted, but that seems like too good of a cycle for this kind of set. That or Sensei's Divining Top and/or the SwordCycle in artifacts. Wishful thinking, I know.
It would have been cool to have gotten some some number of Planar Chaos style colorshifts from the years since Time Spiral. Maybe a red Master Transmuter. A green Stitcher's Supplier. A Bojuka Bog that taps for white. A green Freed from the Real. What if you put Boreal Druid in white, or maybe blue? Totally crazy, or just crazy enough to work?

Would be neat to have seen anyway.
But I'm happy with reprinting cards in general.
