Delve (Each card you exile from your graveyard while casting this spell pays for 1.)
Look at the top seven cards of your library. Put two of them into your hand and the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.
How can they make a delve card in sultai and not let the cards go into the GY? They are put at the bottom of the library. Were they scared that you can delve 6 cards only to put 6 back? GAH! If it was only into the GY instead, this would be epic.
The card already IS epic. It's very pushed. Filling the grave would up the cost and the higher threshold to casting it would make it pretty much unplayable outside of self milling decks.
Besides, part of the point of Delve is that it's supposed to be nonlinear: using more of it competes for resources. If a card with Delve generates resources instead of deplenishing them, then it's badly designed.
For reference, this effect should probably cost 3UU or 4UU. That you can bring it down to "playable" with only 3 cards delved is good; that you can keep going another 3 and make it hyperefficient is just gravy.

This one is really solid in the right deck. Sure you wouldnt pack 4 of them and might not see them every game but the effect is stronger than fact or fiction IMO. Dig two cards deeper and get the best two no questions asked. Being able to cast this at 4 should be doable most of the time and at that price its excellent. At 3 its bonkers and at 2 probably game winning considering you likely have the mana to use the cards you dig up immidietly or the next turn at that point.
And despite its obvious power theres still lots of play in this card. Buy now or get it at discount later, decisions... Cant wait to get one of these in my hand.
I honestly feel like this card will be a 4 of in almost any control deck (that doesn't play other delve cards).

This. This card is deceptively powerful in Standard. If you are black-based control you'll probably run Empty the Pits for the potential blowout, but if you are angling for any other sort of control this card is wonderful. Fetchlands and removal will make this 3UU almost every time and it's amazing for that cost at instant speed.

this seems more powerful than treasure cruise. cost is roughly the same. both have delve. but this is instant. dig 7 deep means you get better card quality.
Definitely the Blue Chase Rare in the set, it is currently sold out at $0.50 on SCG and if my predictions is correct it should be worth probably around $5-$10 ea once KTk hits the shelves. Delving for this is not too hard especially with fetches in the format, this can be played on turn 4 or 5 on the latest. This is a definite must for any control deck. Not sure if this is the right card for mid range but Esper, UW and UB will definitely play this.
#1 - What's the dumbest idea you ever had?
#2 - 15/15 for 15?
#1 - Make it dumber
#2 - Give it protection from removal and counter?
#1 - DUMBER!
#2 - Add Timewalk?
#1 - DAMN IT MAN, I SAID DUMB!! DUMB !!!
#2 - It destroys everything when it attacks.... And wait, I have a friend who plays mill decks... I want to beat him too.
#1 - Excellent! Recess is over, go back and learn sex-ed with the other 6th graders.

It's a fantastic card, Impulse effects have a lot of power and this one can get you any 2 cards. Want Elspeth and a land to cast her? you got it, want that board wipe and a counter to back it up? You got it.
At 4 mana the effect is over powered (that's only 4 cards worth of delve) and at 2 mana in the mid-late game it's insane. I probably wouldn't want a full play set but I'd happily run at least 2 in any standard blue control deck.
Being somewhat comparable to Treasure Cruise hurts them both, though.
This card is *so* much better than Treasure Cruise it isn't even funny.
It's like comparing Concentrate to Instant Speed Ancestral Memories.
Agreed, this card is monumentally better.
As a Modern and Legacy player, I disagree. In very cheap decks such as Delver, I'd rather play Treasure Cruise. Heck, I'd rather play Treasure Cruise in Legacy because Wasteland and Stifle can easily cut me off double blue, Force of Will and Daze let me tap out, and the Instants/Flash cards that cost the most mana in Legacy are Vendilion Clique, Snapcaster Mage into Abrupt Decay, Belcher's Seething Song, Intuition, Cunning Wish, and High Tide's stuff. (Ad Nauseam doesn't count because, due to Tendrils of Agony, Storm is forced to play at sorcery speed.)
I suspect both cards are powerful enough that other decks will splash blue just to play them, and Burn can't support double blue, so it prefers Treasure Cruise.

I think that in legacy(i don't play modern) card selection >>>>>>>>>>>>> card drawing. As a miracles player i would play dig over cruise any day. Really comes down to what deck your playing, but even comparing the two without a deck in mind, instant speed will always trump sorcery speed, especially when you can select those cards from the the top seven. You are always going to hit something relevant, over say, drawing two lands and a swords, or a bolt or something.

I'm just going to add to the chorus of "you're insane if you think this isn't epic already." Read the card. Consider what would happen if this put the other 5 cards (plus itself) into your graveyard. YES, they were EXTREMELY scared of what would happen if you could delve 6 cards and put 6 right back. That would be ludicrous. You'd be cycling through your entire deck in a matter of turns, getting anything you wanted, keeping your graveyard stacked for more (nearly free) delve spells or all other sorts of shenanigans.
As it is, I think this card has got to be the most powerful card in the set, or at least the most powerful non-creature/non-planeswalker. If it actually refueled your graveyard it would just be broken.

This 100%. If the cards went into the graveyard, the card would ALWAYS cost UU after you cast the first one. Which would be insane.
Still, This card will almost always cost only 4-5 CMC. Which is excellent and amazing.

The way I've been looking at it, Sultai want to be the controlly-boss-man, so load your deck with early blockers like Omenspeaker and Sylvan Caryatid, then protect them with your control spells (filling your yard), drop Phenax (with Prophet of Kruphix as bonus points), mill them casually and use your blocker nerds to activate Delve. Maybe it's too Christmas landy, but I'm going to proxy play it for awhile to see if it sticks.
