This could be potentially nuts. Woodfall Primus is the only spoiled card with persist and a comes-into-play effect, but it's a pretty good one on a 6/6 body. With one Blink, your Primus will dodge the first 5 removal spells they play and kill 6 permanents in total. And if they don't kill it, you win, so it doesn't matter. I have a budget Blink deck online that would love the Primus, but I'm not sure if it'll have any real application in Standard.

Naturally the biggest problem with Primus is his mana cost and vulnerability to counterspells. That said, him + blink is pretty amazing indeed if you can get it online fast enough. Any specific deck ideas?
There's potential because Blink and Primus are good cards on their own... the color issue is a problem, though, and probably insurmountable. Also, what other cards work well with Blink and with Primus?
When you blink Twilight Shepherd, you not only get to remove the -1/-1 counter, but you also get to return all cards put into your graveyard that turn to your hand. That could really be nuts. Another card that works great with persist is Fate Transfer.

Leech Bonder can move persist counters if you can tap it.
but yeah, Twilight Shepherd seems to be rather amusing to blink. Or Wrath. or Turn to Mist. (actually, Turn to Mist on a Twilight Shepherd with a -1/-1 counter on it before wrathing would be amusing.)
