I am currently running Satyr Wayfinder, but was considering adding more cards for this role. Grapple with the Past doesn't mill for as much, but pulls double duty as a way to return a value creature/land to hand. This is especially of interest since my particular deck is a W/g(b) Emeria, the sky ruin deck. I also run several enchantments such as greater good and serenity so commune with the gods also might work.
Do I need more than 4 of this effect (wayfinder)? Is grapple with the past the best option despite milling fewer cards?
Thanks for the suggestions. I've decided to go with kruphix's insight and satyr wayfinder. The deck runs sun titan so the wayfinder has some benefits there and insight nabs the tasty enchantments and digs slightly deeper.

Well if you're not going full-on Enchantments wouldn't it make more sense to field Vessel of Nascency in order to convert Sun Titan/Emeria Shepherd into a value draw/mill engine later on? I used to play Mind Stone in my "big White" decks all the time for that very reason.

For dredge - Dakmor Salvage, Life from the Loam, Stinkweed Imp, Party Troll. For free discard - Putrid Imp, Grotesque Hybrid, Zombie Infestation.
For those yet to discover, The Gitrog Monster + Dakmor Salvage + discard outlet = my library is in my graveyard, let's start reanimating.

Then cards like Animate Dead are great.
Otherwise you might look into Nezumi Graverobber, Beacon of Unrest, Coffin Queen, Teneb, the Harvester and Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni.
My meta: 3 or 4 player free for all, anything goes but boring games or broken decks cause a vote to end that game.

That's a good point.
