Deck seeking to use several discard-based interactions and Squee, Goblin Nabob to turn looting into straight-up draw. Inspired by that Bant drake deck from a while back. Looping Fleshbag Marauder should stop standard creature based aggro and Archfiend of Ifnir puts a stop to go-wide token strategies. The idea is to build an army of drakes/Eldrazi while keeping the board clear and eventually just hitting an "I win" Cyclonic Rift/Sepulchral Primordial button to close things out. Grave Scrabbler is a semi-functional substitute for Squee, Goblin Nabob, letting a draw 1 discard 1 turn into a 3-for-1.
Wharf Infiltrator might just be better as a plain old Merfolk Looter here; paying 2 per discard for a token when I also need mana to use Tortured Existence + Drake Haven probably isn't a good enough rate to pass muster. Looter also lets me work at instant speed in case I need to EOT drop -1/-1 counters on the enemy team.
What would you guys change? I'm not 100% on board with the Sepulchral Primordials, if only because they're a little unoriginal.
I'd run the full four Grave Scrabblers. In my madness deck--which isn't too dissimilar from this one--I run a mix of 2 Wharf Infiltrator and 4 Merfolk Looter. Having the first Wharf Infiltrator is great and I've won games by going wide with Eldrazi Horror tokens. But it's really nice having the utility of a free instant-speed loot that can't be stopped because your opponent happens to be playing Prophetic Flamespeaker or some other creature that can block and kill Wharf Infiltrator.
