As soon as I saw atraxa in the spoilers i knew I wanted to build a semi competitive infect commander with her as the lead. I haven't been building it for too long considering I only started when the spoiler was released and I found out what the ability was.
My take on this deck is a +1/+1 counter deck and finish with brutal infect beat down. If playing multi player I want to try and hide the fact that I'm running infect, if at all possible and surprise at the right time to avoid being the main target of everyone else.
I'm running board wipes, counter spells, spot removal and a tiny bit of control to help keep things away from me.
Since the deck has come out I've changed it quite a few times and have gotten it to a pretty solid state for what I want to do but it still misfires every once in a while, any feedback is more than welcome.
Caress of Phyrexia is an insane card for Atraxa. Someone in my pod built it the deck so its constantly wraths, and plays really good infect cards that just contnue to proliferate and infect.
I've looked at caress of phyrexia a couple of times and I haven't put it in yet. How does he get it to wrath so many times tho?? The only cards I can think of that duplicate spells are isochron scepter and snapcaster mage I'm sure there's more but I don't know of anything that I could say imprint that card to.

lol, its okay. he plays multiple wraths, uses graveyard recursion, and instances of flash.
Haha wow I feel like an idiot. What sorts of wraths were run in that deck? And are there any small combos I could run that I could duplicate that spell and target another player as well? Or maybe get it back from the graveyard? I've got creature board wipes but that's about the extent of it. No land wipes or anything. Thanks for the replies!!
