Fair Warning: The deck is currently a rough draft and can be subject to change.
Back in Feburary of the 8th of 2015, when Magic Origins, I made most (aka 98/100) of the deck on a simple theory. This theory was that Chandra as a creature would be she costed 3 mana or less and interact with spells to trigger into her planeswalker form. I nailed the mana cost but I was only half-right in the sense that the spells untap her in order to trigger her "spark" but not that spells by themselves would trigger it.
The deck became 99/100 with the spoiler of Volcanic Vision. Then 100/100 with Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh.
I built the deck more than off a single theory though. I pondered to myself if my theory was correct, then Chandra would need spells that are persistent like Buyback or Flashback or Retrace for instance. Yet it didn't just stop there, both Red Sun's Zenith and Beacon of Destruction exist within the deck as they simply reshuffle themselves into the deck. There was also Arc Blade which periodically came back, like a boomerang of sorts. I also placed within the deck spells like Pulse of the Forge, Surreal Memoir, Hammer of Bogardan and Rekindled Flame.
The deck is also stuffed with artifacts, hence Daretti's inclusion, that synergize with spells. Sphinx-Bone Wand, Memory Crystal, Pyromancer's Gauntlet, Mirari, Runechanter's Pike as just examples. The pike I feel is really self-explanatory as if all else fails I can always equip Chandra with it and make her 2+X/2 with first strike. Yet that is not the only means the deck has to buff her in creature form, it also has Scroll of the Masters in order to pump her up by +X/+X equal to the number of spells I have casted that the scroll has kept track of.
There is one last trick the deck can do to make Chandra or any of the other creatures bigger based on spells cast/used. This last trick is Haze of Rage + Memory Crystal. Fairly straight forward. If I got 10 mana, Haze in hand, Crystal and nonsummoning-sickness Chandra on board, I can turn her into a 17/2 that could punch for a win for instance as she goes all "CHANDRA SMASH!". The most optimal situation which borders on Christmas Land territory would be the above scenario, 10 mana + crystal + chandra + haze. Yet now throw in a Ruby Medallion into that mix so haze now only costs R instead of 1R. What changes is Chandra goes from 17/2 to 57/2 which unless someone has been gaining life like there is no tomorrow, 57 damage let alone general damage is enough to take out an untouched 40-life player.
The deck does run wheels. Specifically Wheel of Fate and Reforge the Soul. Chandra, Pyromaster and Outpost Siege allow for the deck to pseudo-draw consistently from turn to turn. It also has Kozilek, Butcher of Truth for not only the ability to draw cards and provide a massive threat on the board, it also can serve as a means to regain cards in the graveyard. There is also Humble Defector which can act as card draw assuming your opponent doesn't just sacrifice it on the spot when they get it.
Why no Lightning Bolt or the like? They are not terrible cards normally. Yet in EDH, specifically multiplayer, they are lackluster in value. What is more valuable is the spell that can be regained in some form. Rekindled Flame as an example.
One maybe wondering why Snow-Covered Mountain and not a normal Mountain. Simple, normal mountains can't fog for a turn. How? Glacial Crevasses. This is a fairly old gem, Ice Age to be specific. To mitigate the loss, to an extent, the deck also utilizes Crucible of Worlds. Glacial Chasm also works quiet favorably with Crucible and can be used periodically. Its not meant as an absolute defense, neither the enchantment or the land when combined with the artifact. What it does allow for is stalling for valuable time as the damage/land-loss you could be taking from the Chasm may not be as bad in comparison to what your opponent has on board. Which can allow one to of course stall for time and assemble a plan to fight back.
Shattering Pulse is there for a reusable artifact removal, mana rocks are plentiful.
The biggest issue mono-red has is card advantage and dealing with disadvantage. Going with your theme Recoup is great at enabling an already spent wheel of fortune. Coercive Portal is also a fantastic card drawing machine. Journeyer's Kite is a fantastic passive way to get an extra card every turn and guarantee landfall. While higher on the curve Mind's Eye and Staff of Nin always make the cut in my non-aggro mono-red lists.
Also there isn't much here to keep her safe. You could always run some chaotic toys like Reroute or Shunt, maybe compliment that reiterate with a Fork?
Valakut is important, and if you tune your manabase to it (25ish basic's or fetches to get basics), then Expedition Map becomes invaluable. From that concept you could then improve your acceleration by replacing Fire Diamond with a Wayfarer's Bauble, which like Terrain Generator can act as a Lightning Strike in late game.
Braid of Fire is also often times very whimsical. You only have access to the mana during your upkeep. I used to run it in my Latulla, Keldon Overseer deck, but even having access to that mana with her I often times just let it fizzle as it was not needed or I had better plans. Per your current list you really don't have enough instant speed tools to utilize it.
If your goal is to use an array of burn spells then Price of Progress should really be included here. It gets stupid, very very fast, and very very amusing if you have some way of copying the spell. I once cast it, copied it with Increasing Vengeance, and when the copy resolved re-cast Increasing Vengeance from the 'yard. The opponent only had 4 non-basic's in play, but I did 32 damage to him with just these two cards. I did the same play in a different game and broke 100 damage to one guy playing an oloro pillow-fort deck. He was a little pissed.
If you are going to run Isochron Scepter then you really need more candidate spells like Price of Progress, otherwise it will sit in your hand often times never used.
Thank you Macabre. I will see what I can tweak within the deck.
Its nice to finally start tweaking it knowing finally what Chandra as a legendary creature is like.

The deck runs Blasphemous Act, Volcanic Vision, Arcbond and Sudden Demise act as sweepers.

Flamekin Village and Madblind Mountain seem like just a slow-down on tempo, and Mercadian Bazaar is too iffy in my personal opinion.
Again just my opinion, but if you are in the colors of Ruination then typically I would only run the most important non-basic's red has; Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, Terrain Generator, Myriad Landscape, Temple of the False God, and Ancient Tomb. Your Blood Moon already turns off most of the techy lands anyways.
Valakut is important, and if you tune your manabase to it (25ish basic's or fetches to get basics), then Expedition Map becomes invaluable.
