So after playing EDH on MTGO for awhile I've realized its important to play counters and have ways to quickly win the game. So I'm trying to build a very strong deck. I like what The Mimeoplasm can do and I think his colors are great for a strong EDH deck. I'm trying not to go all in on the graveyard strategy because I don't want to fold to some grave hate. Currently its a massive list of strong cards. Are there any particularly broken cards in the colors I'm missing? For once I'm not opposed to combos, the fewer cards needed to combo the better. $5 is probably the highest per card I can afford at present. I'm just not used to building a deck to be as broken as possible, I usually build on a theme but this time I'm building to win. Thanks for any and all input!

1. Cut the bounce lands. They're targets waiting to be blown up.
2. Commit to one thing. I see lots of creatures that if plasm copied wouldn't be that important and lots of reanimator synergy. Either go with reanimator or plasm. Cut the stuff that's just goodstuff since it's not often it will come in handy.
3. Cards like exclude are too narrow. Replace with low cmc cards that counter everything.
Hey guys so I've actually moved on from commander on to 60 card decks so I don't have any commander decks.
Anyway I've started my own gameplay channel in which I play games (Magic also)
I want to start off with this suggestion, based on the "Cutthroat" in the title: Mana Crypt. It's like $5 on MTGO. Same with a few other Vintage cards that are really expensive in real life but online they're <$5, such as Mana Drain and the original duals.
Thanks a lot for the response! I feel like it would be better to stay away from Reanimator so I don't get blown out by grave hate. Do you ever have that problem?

Not so much anymore. I run over a dozen answers and lots of tutors just in case

If you are building The Mimeoplasm, reanimator is typically the way to go. To avoid graveyard hate, don't overcommit. There's no reason to keep dumping things in the yard, if you have things in there you can already abuse.
Also, one of my favorite ways to kill someone with Mimeo is by getting Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon and Krosan Tusker (great card for this deck!) in the yard (Buried Alive). Cast Mimeo and activate Skithy's haste ability to knock someone out.

I think answers are super important to run. I won't run so any tutors though. I don't want every game to be the same: tutor up deaths shadow, entomb skithyrix and kill.

So I've been going over your primer this evening and I do like the deck but its just extremely focused on doing one thing. I noticed that you have nearly no utility creatures or dudes that aren't reanimation targets. I think I'm going to try to do something that can reanimate but also can still beat some faces in if I can't get my reanimate on.
Typically cutthroat decks don't run very many creatures. Honestly, I haven't seen many Mimeoplasm decks that are truly cutthroat. I've seen very strong ones that do well in 99% of all metas but most Mimeo decks want to use the Mimeo. BUG decks that are cutthroat don't really build around the commander. The commander is mostly there for colors and for the limited number of games that run deep in cutthroat.
That is why Damia, Sage of Stone is often a better choice in the colors. Mimeo isn't great late because your deck isn't going to be creature heavy in cutthroat. Neither are your opponents decks. Damia gives you potentially game breaking card draw for the occasions where games go long.
If you really want to see a cutthroat deck that is in the colors look up the Damia lists by moxnix.
The first list is extremely strong and should hang in truly cutthroat games. The storm list is almost as degenerately good as Ad Nauseam combo or Hermit Druid. It might not be as fast as those but it's probably more resilient and better in the games that do go long.

Pretty much this. Relying too much on your commander can end up screwing the deck over. I rarely cast my general but when I do it's a finisher or a way to exile threats from opponents assuming they're doing something similar.
I recently played against a really powerful Damia deck online that had a similar decklist to Monix's build. Some of the best and closest games I've had.

MTGO is not really cutthroat I think. People that play cutthroat decks typically stops playing online because most do not (I think around 90% or more do not have a good deck) and it gets old fast to win all the time. I.e. I am playing a pauper deck in multiplayer and wins around 50% of the time. That would not happen in a cutthroat meta. Duels is a bit better I think though (but this is in the multiplayer subforum).
That said, if you want to improve your deck (and it is a far cry from cutthroat right now) you should lower your curve. I think the avg. cmc (of non-lands) is around 4 and you should get it below 3 atleast. For instance, my pauper deck is less than 3 in avg. cmc and it is playing more high cost spells then I am generally comfortable with but the pauper pool is a bit shallow. Lowering your curve lets you 1) adapt more easily to the game; and 2) also often makes someone else stuff a target; 3) and lets you play more spells.
