I have been enamored of Sol'kanar the Swamp King's art since encountering it over a decade ago. Time Spiral provided me a black-bordered copy, eventually bringing me to this decklist today. One day, I will have an original Legends copy, just because!
This current incarnation is back to Mycosynth Lattice shenanigans, just not as ugly as before (though that may change). While the list currently has the most draw ever for this deck, it may not be enough, but I haven't really had much time to try it out since altering it. I do need to work on my in-game math skills, as I lost to my own Radiated Clutch of the Undercity - it was funny, though. Psychic Surgery is a fun way to degrade opposing library searchers, but with Maralen of the Mornsong gone from the deck, it may need to come out. Time will tell. This list will be sporadically updated in my never-ending quest between fun cards and winning regularly.
I counted cards with overload and kicker costs at full price, because I am unlikely to cast them at the lesser cost!
Lands are lands; my shocks and filters went to Nekusar, so I am making do.
My main strategies are to: 1 - suit up Sol'kanar with a hammer, sword, plating, and some Hatred, then swampwalking to victory; 2 - Radiate a Clutch of the Undercity for a glorious draw; 3 - play off of what is going on in game and try to eke out a win; 4 - Lattice shenanigans. Throughout the game, I end up playing table police as much of my meta consists of people who either run few answers and/or people that race to combo out.
All suggestions are welcome, especially any synergies I missed using what is in the deck.
As I make changes based on experience and recommendations, I will do my best to keep this updated.
10/6/13: removed Balance of Power, Slaughter Pact, Omen Machine, Dread Return, and Circular Logic. Replaced them with Prosperity, Reanimate, Blanket of Night, Exhume, and Relic of Progenitus; removed Wild Evocation and Ward of Bones for Clutch of the Undercity and Kill Switch
11/1/13: removed Evil Twin, Kederekt Leviathan, Prince of Thralls, Kaervek the Merciless, Hive Mind, Prosperity, Covenant of Minds, Rhystic Study, the three Vivid Lands, B and U cycling lands, Temporal Aperature, Crosis' Catacombs, Terrain Generator, and Undiscovered Paradise for a wide variety of cards.

Very interesting deck. I've never played this color combination but Sol'kanar has always seemed like a very stylish general to me. I like how you fit Nicol Bolas into the deck. It looks like a cool build but I have a few observations for ya.
Was hoping to see Blanket of Night! Would be nice for the swampwalking and make your black spells easier to cast. I strongly prefer vampiric tutor or diabolic tutor over long-term plans. With long term plans, it's actually card disadvantage because you have to wait to draw it, it doesn't replace itself. This puts your tutor'd card at risk to a shuffle or mill effect.
Also, keep in mind that price of glory and circular logic is quite a non-bow. If you want to lower your curve a bit, you could replace mindleech mass with nightveil specter.
Landwise, a land I'm quite fond of is haunted fengraf. All your creatures are powerful, who cares which one you get back? You could also take out 4 of the lands you deem the weakest and replace them with 3 guildgates and maze's end. Maze's end would help power up your temple of the false god and also works with terrain generator. Overall, looks solid although I'd personally avoid the hive mind / pact but not sure what your meta is like. Hope this helps!
Circular Logic is an easy cut, both because of what you pointed out and no other forms of countermagic making it unlikely to be seen.
The cold light of day makes me realize I lack sweepers of any sort. Is it worth gambling on having one of my mass Swamp-makers to run Mutilate?
Lastly, Spellbound Dragon may need some explanation - I use it to not only draw, but to fill the graveyard for my minor suite of reanimation spells. A suite of spells that may need expanding/replacing.
It's probably a good call to include a sweeper or two. Mutilate seems quite risky however since if you don't draw a swamp maker, you only run 4 actual swamps. Black Sun's Zenith is more mana intensive, but is more likely to get the job done. It's a lot pricer, but All is Dust is worth a mention because you're running 17 artifacts and it clears enchantments as well. Also, you could just try running mutilate or bsz for a while. I've read a lot of speculation that damnation is going to get reprinted sometime in the Theros block because it fits with the theme of the God of the underworld etc.
Spellbound Dragon seems like some pretty cool tech now that you explain it. I'd be interested to read some after action reports to hear how your deck plays out. Also, thanks for the suggestions on my Agrus Kos deck!
Substantial changes to this deck, as seen in the first post.
Still, I am pondering adding Ruination, Grenzo's Rebuttal, and perhaps Price of Progress to the deck. The Confiscate was there to steal planeswalkers, but in play is more cumbersome than anything else. Surprise Hatred during others' Commander attacks has ended games.
Laying out the decklist forced me to realize just how few creatures I am down to. Goblin Welder is in consideration, but I am torn between adding innocuous blockers (defender and otherwise) and facesmashers.
I do have an odd question - am I running too many answers? My playing tablecop is a necessity, but I often find myself just waiting, which drives me batty (I am a terrible countermagic player because of this).
This seems like such a solid deck. Lots of cards I should add like Olivia and syphon mind and from the ashes. Also thinking Rite of Replication's price is probably down now that it comes in Teferi's C14 deck so he would definitely fit. Man that card would fit in my deck so well. Would definitely need to add Reverberate in there too. What are other cheap copy spells? There's a 4CMC that changes target as well as copies that I haven't used in my Nek deck (though probably should...). More copy spells would make more sense for tempo creature steals.
Thanks for the update! I need to add more board wipe in mine. I think there are more affordable options now than just dmanation. That would probably help me out a lot.

I have Blanket of Night, Haunted Fengraf, and Diabolic Tutors available. I see what you're suggesting with Guildgates and Maze's End, but will set that one aside for now.

Off to do some box-digging and deck-changing.

Cards I am considering are Leyline of Anticipation, Vedalken Orrery, Leyline of the Void, Goblin Welder, Meltdown, and Spin into Myth. My meta is still very light on enchantment kill, and heavy on tutors into combos or deck stacking for the multiple Maelstrom Wanderer decks in the shop.
What about that fortification to keep Urborg around? Darksteel Garrison, I think it is called.
As always, comments are welcome and appreciated.
