You aren't playing nearly enough instants/sorceries. You can check out my Talrand list for some inspiration. Not saying mine is amazing, but it has been a blast to play and can run away with games, if allowed to.
As a fellow Talrand player I suggest you have to run much more instants, and much less creatures. Check my mini-primer (in my sig!!) for more details. Talrand doesn't need as many creatures as many other decks and can be built to be slightly more control. Manipulator and Charlatan are the first two I would immediately cut. Beguiler is a bit weak but it works since you have so many creatures. Try the Vedalken Shackles.
In any case I don't think you get tokens for copying spells either, because if they don't say you play them, you don't get any. I think. I'm not very sure.
IF you want to run wizard tribal, use Azami instead.

I took a look at your deck and like it. But it's not really the way I want to go. I am looking at more of a wizard deck. I used to run lots of counterspells but people didn't like playing against it as it just shut down their game.
I want my instants and sorceries to either be bombastic (Bribery), or reuseable (Reality Strobe). If you can think of any good cards that fit that mold I'd be interested to hear.

Consider playing Door of Destinies, if you want to make your wizards more lethal. You might also want to consider putting extra-turn spells (Time Warp, Walk the Aeons, etc.) in for added value. Also, unless you plan on upping your instant/sorcery count, I'd drop Sphinx-Bone Wand and Veilstone Amulet. Not sure how they've played for you, but it seems like you're lacking ways to activate them consistently.
Way too many Creatures and not enough Instant/Sorceries. I think if you wanted to go Tribal Wizards, there are better options than Talrand. I also have a Talrand in my sig...
That being said by everyone and their uncle, I'll make suggestions to improve your Talrand.
Proteus Staff. You make Drake tokens and then use those to go fetch your awesome Wizards.
Voidmage Prodigy can give you extra lock out but more importantly, your opponents can see that you have a limit to how many Counterspells you have. 4 Wizards, 4 Counterspells.

And the only other thing I can say is that despite the amount of Buyback or Flashback, you need more Sorceries and Instants. I tried to steer away from that but you only have 19 cards that trigger Talrand.
Cantrips can really help your early game and become Drakes later on, but you deck lacks them. You tap out on your turn to play creatures instead of reacting and neutralizing their spells while gaining a Drake on your opponent's turn.
For either wizards or your drakes, coat of arms. Good finisher in talrand. But if tribal wizards are your thing, then go Azami.
Coat of Arms is a good idea. As far as using Azami... that's what everyone does. I like the idea and the challenge of Talrand as a Tribal Wizard/Drakes-From-Spells deck.
I see you have a Ghave deck and a Thromok deck. Take a look at my decks in my sig. My Ghave works well. My Thromok on the other hand definitely needs help.
